Stayed in a (tiny) private room. Location is fairly central in Wan Chai, and close to transportation and many shops and restaurants. Victoria Harbor and Victoria Park are both fairly close as well and great for walking and running; Victoria Park has a lot of other exercise equipment as well. Room didn’t have much space, particularly if you want to keep your suitcase open somewhere. Bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. While prices tend to be high for not a lot of space in HK, and a lot of beds in China tend to be hard, I did later find some places with a little more space — and much more comfortable beds — for a similar price. AC was directly over the bed, so it was sometimes hard to get a comfortable temp in the room. Shower wasn’t divided and no curtain or squeegee, so water splashed everywhere when showering and there wasn’t a good way to prevent it or clean it up. Service seemed limited to emptying the garbage, though the lady working the desk was nice.

I booked for 4 bunk beds (like the capsule), at first, the receptionist lady brought me to a room with just 3 beds inside, no curtains or splitter to seperate each other. I asked her, why the room looks so different. she said she would change the room for me in the next day, and asked me to stay in that room for 1 night. I was ok with her deal, the next day, she changed the room for me to the bunk bed. Bunk bed was not bad (but also not that good) my bed position was not that good). I don't think the cold air can get to my bed position that much. Some night, I sweat a lot!! . About the cleanliness it is good. About the receptionist lady, she was so nice, I can see her efforts which trying so hard helping me. About the location, also good, in Causeway bay near mtr and bus stop. The price is cheap if you thinking about hong kong (small, limited land).

Stayed in room 14J-3, a single ensuite room with shared balcony access. Newly renovated, simple, pleasant, clean. Wifi quite fast, 5GHz above 100Mbit. This hostel private rooms are best value for money in Causeway Bay at this time, by far. Sound insulation not perfect, but was very quiet the whole week. Always happy to stay here.

We had a little bit of trouble of finding the door to the hostel, but eventually found it. The room was small but practical. Bathroom was clean. There’s a metro station nearby which is convenient. Although it’s called a hostel, it didn’t really feel like a hostel because of the lack of common areas. It’s fine, but if you’re looking for the hostel vibe, I don’t recommend this place. We accidentally booked one day short but fortunally they were flexible and could give us another night in our room. The neighbourhood is nice. There’s lots of stores and little restaurants. We loved Nom Nom Dumpling, a dumpling restaurant located almost right next to the hostel.

Clean, great location, nice staff. Mind the 100 hkd deposit. I did pay as much as I would for a hotel in Europe, but given the room could have been used by two people, it was a fair price for Hong Kong.

It was a very pleasant stay. The staff was very helpful even though I arrived after midnight. Will definitely come back.

Timehouse Hong Kong Hostel is located in the heart of the shopping area of Causeway Bay. It has a big fridge and a freezer, good ventilation and nice views to the outside. In addition, you can enjoy a relaxing hot shower and big double bed. There are also numerous nearby facilities such as Welcome supermarket, Sogo department store, and several restaurants for every kind of budget. The closest metro station is just in a walking distance of five minutes and 10 minutes away to the bus stop to the Airport. Great location! Alan, the manager, is a very welcoming and service-minded man. He is always available and remains in contact with you for any inconvenience that it might occur. I only can recommend this place when in Hong Kong! I would definitely book again in my next trip to HK. Thank you, Alan and the rest of the staff. The staff is very helpful and nice. Location is great. Room is clean. The hostel is very thoughtful as my room has a socket converter with both USB plug and an adapter. The bathrooms are very clean and it was really quiet at night for a good night sleep.

First time here, quite impressive! The bed is neat and tidy, I slept here only 1 night and regret that I already booked another already, cuz I wanna be here more.

Timehouse is a quaint, unassuming and retro hotel located within a residential building 3 mins walk away from Causeway Bay metro station. It's location is very convenient and is accessible directly from the airport via the A11 bus. The solo room is comfy with good AC and hot bath water supply. It has a good view of the bay area too. Alan, the hotel manager, is super sweet and thoughtful. He has been very nice to help me take care of my deliveries and checked in with me if I have any issues or concerns. He was very polite and personal, and I felt well taken care of. While this is not the most fanciest hotel, it is definitely full of warmth and care where my needs were taken care of. The place offers unparalleled value with great location, staff, and amenities. I will definitely book again whenever I return to Hong Kong. Thanks so much Alan for making my stay such a memorable one :) Highly recommended!

Located in a good area easily accessible by metro. Room and bathroom are decently clean and tidy

Stayed here a few times now. Looks like it will be my regular place when in HK. Double bedroom, good size

It was ok for one night but I changed to an other hostel after. The place is basically only a dorm within a apartment building. Nothing more. No shared space

They don't have laundry, as it says in info. It's laundry service in the building for its cost. Not inside the hostel. Plus towel is paid too. So i hadn't washed as i hadn't had my own and the cleanliness of theirs... Other is very goog. Neighbours are good. There is spacious there. There are shampoo and hand soap in the bathroom. A little bit wet and better be aware of slipery floor.
