From our window, we could see the tea gardens, which led us to discover the nearby Tea Culture Park – a 5A-rated scenic area! Inside, you can join a group for a tea tasting, and the staff will introduce and recommend Huangshan Maofeng tea. After exploring the museum, you can enjoy a free stroll through the tea gardens at dusk. There's even a very convenient path connecting the tea gardens directly to the hotel. Qiankou Museum is also great for families with kids; climbing the small hill there isn't strenuous at all. We could return to the hotel, relax, and then check out, making for a very relaxed and enjoyable trip. The hotel's location is excellent, not far from Qiankou Town. We were lucky enough to catch a carnival over the weekend. The price was very reasonable, and our kids had an absolute blast. Cleanliness: Spotless. Ambiance: Superb! The owner is truly a design genius. They seem to have reassembled, relocated, and renovated elements from old houses, skillfully blending popular artistic decor with modern construction techniques to recreate the grandeur of ancient residences. It feels safe to stay here, and guests get to experience the unique charm of an old estate. Above all, the location is prime. Service: Excellent. The owner even went the extra mile to drive us to a scenic spot.

Located between Xixinan and Chengkan, it's about a 10-minute drive. It's right next to Xie Yuda Tea Plantation, so you can easily take a morning stroll there! The house itself is quaint and charming, very quiet, and parking is super convenient! The owner's family is incredibly warm and welcoming, and their little Jiangnan is absolutely adorable! Grandma's cooking is truly excellent; we had the Stinky Mandarin Fish and a plate of greens. The portions were so generous we couldn't even finish it all!

I was intrigued by the guesthouse's historical narrative and decided to book a family room, which turned out to be an excellent choice. The room was incredibly spacious, and the thoughtfully designed little touches added a unique charm. What truly sealed the deal, however, was the aesthetic beauty of the entire traditional building, which immediately put me in a relaxed, holiday mood. My children were absolutely thrilled, exclaiming that they usually only get to visit places like this and never imagined they'd actually get to stay here – it felt like stepping back in time. They even playfully likened a typical private courtyard to a 'petite beauty' while calling Xulun Hall (the guesthouse) a 'grand dame'! The guesthouse is conveniently located near the Xie Yu Da Tea Plantation. Both the lush green lawns and the tea gardens are beautiful, and the country lanes are quiet and refreshing – perfect for a leisurely stroll if you have the time. At night, it's wonderfully quiet, and if you're lucky, you can even spot a sky full of stars. The host is incredibly welcoming and proactively offered recommendations for dining spots, as well as parking and sightseeing itineraries. Laifu, the little dog in the courtyard, is also very friendly. All in all, it’s definitely a place I'd love to revisit!

The owner was incredibly kind. The guesthouse itself has a lovely, elegant ambiance, housed in a building with so much history. Auntie's homemade breakfast tasted just like home, truly giving us that feeling of coming home. Their little girl even helped us with our luggage. They are such a warm and loving family. Highly recommend! 👍👍

The old house exudes incredible charm and an authentic antique feel; staying here truly feels like stepping back in time. The bedding was spotless! The surrounding area also offers beautiful country paths perfect for leisurely walks. A must-try is the stir-fried eggplant, homemade by the owner's mother using their own homegrown eggplants – it's incredibly savory, fragrant, tender, and absolutely delicious! The owner's wife is lovely and incredibly hospitable. Highly recommended for families! The rooms are exceptionally spacious, filled with charming vintage touches. I even sent photos to my friends, and they thought I was staying at an Aman resort! This place offers excellent value for money. To top it off, if you contact them in advance, the owner can pick you up from Huangshan North High-speed Rail Station. Plus, there's an incredibly cute dog!

The Huizhou architecture is breathtakingly beautiful, truly beyond words. The aesthetic sensibility of people from Southern Anhui is simply unmatched anywhere. The owner's mother is an amazing cook; her light yet incredibly flavorful dried bamboo shoot and shredded pork noodles for breakfast tasted just like my own mother's cooking. The entire family, spanning three generations, exudes such warmth and kindness. They are all incredibly friendly and happy to chat, making you feel completely at home and at ease.

Being a big fan of classical Huizhou architecture, I opted for Ziyuan Inn. The owner is incredibly friendly; he even arranged a car for our trip to Huangshan. He specifically called to warn me about potential tea scams from vendors there, which I found quite amusing! Auntie's noodles were absolutely delicious! They serve guests only homegrown corn and free-range eggs. You can also order braised free-range chicken at the inn, and honestly, it tasted even better than what I had at any outside restaurant!

My initial impression of this guesthouse was very positive – a charming, family-run B&B with distinct Huizhou characteristics. I absolutely loved it! They have several dogs, and one named Laifu is a real charmer – he truly understands his role as a host! He loves playing with guests and letting them pet him; he's incredibly smart and sweet. In the evenings, sitting in the courtyard with the loud chirping of cicadas, it felt just like a summer night in my childhood village. The dogs stayed by my side the entire time, adding so much joy and warmth to the experience. LOL! The auntie's breakfast noodles in the morning were absolutely delicious! I enjoyed them under a big tree in the courtyard, with two dogs sitting patiently on either side of me, a gentle breeze blowing, and fresh, clean air. I really appreciate this peaceful, uncrowded atmosphere. It makes me wonder about guesthouses that try to emulate hotel standards with highly standardized service – where's the true spirit of a guesthouse in that? All in all, I absolutely adore this back-to-nature, homely atmosphere.
