Easily one of the best hotels on Huangshan Mountain, with exceptionally high standards for both service and environment! Tucked away in a secluded spot opposite the Beihai Hotel, a rustic wooden door opens to reveal a true sanctuary. The staff members were all incredibly gentle and soft-spoken, always with a warm smile. During a heavy downpour, the management continuously checked in on us, helped arrange porters, provided a dehumidifier, and even brought a foot bath with hot water. From the moment we stepped in, we felt incredibly well-cared for, with impeccable attention to every detail! And a foot massager was available, which was an absolute lifesaver for my tired legs! Dinner was a set menu, featuring ingredients freshly brought up the mountain daily, and it was truly exquisite. The fresh small mandarin fish, in particular, was a revelation, completely changing my perception of Huizhou cuisine – so fresh and tender! After dinner, guest activities were offered, including incense crafting, calligraphy, and tea tasting, with brush painting available for children. The young lady leading the incense crafting was sweet and engaging, and our child absolutely adored her! Returning to our room after dinner, we found a soothing 'goodnight stew' designed for a restful sleep. The complimentary mini-bar was a bonus, and our child especially loved the milk! The coffee brewed in the morning was also wonderfully aromatic! The in-room breakfast service was also perfectly executed – a true blessing after a tiring hike, when all you want to do is stay in bed! The room was spacious and spotlessly clean; apart from the dehumidifier being a little noisy, everything else was practically perfect! The snacks in the Huizhou-style food box were delicious, and the tableware was incredibly elegant. Even the tissue box was adorned with Xiangyunsha, a traditional intangible cultural heritage fabric – the attention to detail was truly exceptional! The small courtyard was serene and incredibly comforting. Overall, I was extremely satisfied, and I'll definitely be back on my next visit to Huangshan!

This guesthouse boasts an excellent location, being close to the cable car and offering convenient access for both sunrise and sunset views. There are also many attractions nearby. The guesthouse itself is very tastefully and warmly decorated. The staff provided truly exceptional service – incredibly warm, enthusiastic, and thoughtful. They even went as far as to help guests plan itineraries tailored to their physical capabilities. Should any situation arise requiring a refund from a scenic area, the guesthouse staff would proactively assist in contacting them, saving guests all the hassle. Moreover, the food prepared at the guesthouse was exquisitely made and absolutely delicious! While Huangshan itself is truly majestic and breathtaking, the guesthouse's outstanding service significantly enhanced our trip there. The location is very convenient, close to Monkey Gazing at the Sea and Beginning-to-Believe Peak. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. They also offer kids' activities, an outdoor movie, and souvenirs. A very comfortable stay.

This stay has completely reset my benchmark for domestic accommodation in China; it's currently my absolute top pick. I'm not sure whether to categorize it as a hotel or a guesthouse, but frankly, it doesn't really matter. It's located directly opposite Beihai Hotel, next to Mo Bi Sheng Hua, and right beside the police station. You'll find a discreet wooden door, easily missed, down a hidden path. Once you step inside, it's like entering a whole different world. The entire property is designed like a quaint little village, with all rooms thoughtfully nestled on the mountainside. All buildings are beautifully renovated historical structures. I booked the 'Yun Yi' room, which comes with a private courtyard featuring a small soaking tub. After a day of hiking, soaking in the tub to soothe tired muscles, with the stars and moon as your companions above, was simply wonderful. From the moment you book, you won't have to worry about how to get up the mountain or how to explore; your dedicated butler will arrange everything. They offer VIP access to the mountain: a driver will pick you up from your location at the foot of the mountain at the appointed time and take you directly to the cable car station, where you'll use the VIP lane to board without any wait. You won't have to concern yourself with the crowds at the South Gate or the queues for the cable car – none of that affects you. We visited on a Saturday during the summer holidays. The driver picked us up at 7:30 AM, and we genuinely arrived at Yunjia before 9 AM. You get the picture? While the room amenities and finishes might not rival the luxurious villas of Banyan Tree, Aman, or Six Senses, it's important to remember that the property is located within a scenic area, meaning construction and footprint are restricted. Moreover, every single item has to be carried up the mountain by porters from the foot of the mountain. However, the service here is absolutely exceptional – truly top-tier. It's not just one or two staff members who provide excellent service; it's the entire team. Their service is entirely proactive; guests barely need to voice a request as the staff anticipate your needs before you even think of them. This level of intuitive and attentive service is genuinely rare and incredibly difficult to achieve. Given that Yunjia's rooms are almost always fully booked during the summer, it's clear that the price isn't the issue when it's truly worth every penny. The room was exceptionally well-equipped, and the overall ambiance was absolutely fantastic and quite unique. After a day of hiking, a massage was just what I needed to soothe my tired leg muscles. The butler service was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. They not only provided daily Huangshan weather updates and suggested itineraries but also arranged for us to experience some truly fascinating traditional culture. The food at the restaurant was superb. We will definitely choose to stay here again on our next trip to Huangshan!
