I highly recommend it. A wonderful place to reconnect with nature, enjoy away from the city with friends and family. The staff and the owner are kind and they always give us the extra mile, we ask if we can do a barbecue and they facilitate everything, they offer themselves to take us to the town to buy some groceries, and they just make our stay easy and wonderful. The location is near a clean and beautiful river, transparent water ideal for kids and families during the hot summer. The beds are comfortable, the price is fair and the service is outstanding. The hotel owner also drove us to the Hungshan bus station in order for us to go up the magnificent mountais and it is a must do in this place.

Location is good if you solely want to visit the mountain. However, it is quite far from towns that have restaurants and shops. There are no options for food delivery available on ******* from this hotel so your only option is to eat at the hotel restaurant which is quite expensive but delicious. The public transport is unreliable. However, the hotel can drive you to anywhere that is within 10km for free which is great. If you want to be dropped off somewhere further, you will need to pay a fee. The hotel can also provide discounted tickets to some attractions and schedule a shuttle to be dropped off at the railway station (about ¥80 per person). Note, it is quite difficult to book a Didi from such a remote location. Using a translation app is a must as they only speak Chinese. Overall, the hotel is accomdating and helpful.

We had a great experience at the shandishan hotel. Big rooms with a nice balcony and modern equipment. Very friendly service and great food by the owner!

The rooms of the hotel are comparable to those of star-rated hotels, clean and comfortable. The boss provided considerate service. He drove us to the south gate of Huangshan Mountain. The next day, after we finished our trip to Huangshan, we called the boss to pick us up and take us back to the hotel, saving us the trouble of parking if we drove ourselves. I also had chicken soup made from old hens caught on site at the B&B, which was rare.
