Hotels in Tunxi/Liyyang Old Streets, Huangshan

Super location and very nice staff. We ordered an airport pickup to the hotel with the trip app and our driver contacted the hotel to let them know when we arrived so that a staff member could pick us up by the road. Super cozy streets around the hotel. My room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was very good, noodles and dumplings. On our second day we asked the staff to recommend a driver to take us to different hot spots and we got a very nice driver at an affordable price. Will definitely stay here again.

This B&B is our most impressive stay during 13 day trip in East China. Charming decorations, comfortable bed, tasty breakfast and most importantly, their hospitality!! Jacky is the warmest host. He did a great job in serving his guests. We felt like we are his friends rather than customers. He gave so many good advises on the Huangshan walk routing, taxi booking to Chemgkan and also good place to dinner. Unfortunately, we stayed only one night here and it rained In the early evening so not much chance to explore Tunxi as we wished.

Staff are super friendly and go out of their way to help you. The location is slightly difficult to find (you’ll need to walk through a random building hallway in order to find the hotel entrance). If you message the hotel in advance they will come out and help lead the way. Convenient location for restaurants and beautifully designed garden.

Hotel is conveniently located along Tunxi Old St near the main entrance. Staff is very friendly. There are two free to use washer dryers on the 4th floor that were convenient for cleaning my overdue laundry. My room is a bit smaller than expected but comfortable. It was on the 2nd floor facing the rear so noise was minimal despite being nearly at street level. Overall a good experience. Can recommend. Only flaw was that there were no lifts so I had to lug my stuff upstairs and back.

In the evening, the old street seemed to have traveled through time and space to the ancient times. It was very beautiful. I liked it very much. The hotel was antique and the small courtyard was very clean. It was really nice to take pictures and check in. The hotel has a fish lantern studio. The fish lanterns in Anhui are lifelike. There is a ☕️ bar. I drank coffee and chatted with friends. I felt that time slowed down. The service was also good. It was worth the money! It is worth recommending and experiencing the stay

I like the room very much, it's a twin room with a lot of space. Because I couldn't confirm the exact arrival time at Huangshan North, I contacted the manager Huahua just before I got on the bus, and he immediately arranged a driver to pick me up at the station. The driver in the fleet was also very nice, he dropped me off near the hotel for free, and helped me contact the uncle in black clothes in the store, who kept helping to carry the suitcases. I walked slowly with my mother. When leaving the next day, Huahua helped carry the suitcase again, feeling very embarrassed. We took another driver's car in the fleet to the hotel in Tangkou Town. The scenery along the way was really beautiful. A stay experience beyond imagination.

Location is excellent. Around the corner is Tunxi Old Street and Liyang Food Street is about a 10 min walk. The hotel is very old. The lobby is the only part of the building that has been renovated. The elevator and carpets leading to the guest rooms are old, stained, and very dirty. The room size is average, but very dusty. You can see the dust hanging from the walls. The room smelled smokey and poorly sound proofed. You can hear the neighbors all night. The bathroom smelled musky and there are urine stains on the toilet seat. Even though location is great, I would choose another hotel next time.

I came to Huangshan with my sister, made a guide in advance, read many reviews, and finally chose this B&B because it is very convenient to be picked up by the high-speed rail! ! ! Facilities: The room facilities are smart and new! Zero-pressure mattress makes sleeping very comfortable! Cleanliness: The room is clean and tidy! ! ! Environment: This is a relatively new B&B! The entire courtyard is full of atmosphere, with restaurants, cafes, gyms, mahjong rooms and laundry rooms! The owner’s intentions are reflected in everything! ! ! Service: What makes me most satisfied is the service! The staff are very welcoming! He planned a travel route for us and explained it in detail, and his attitude was great! The courtyard of this B&B is very large, and the photos are particularly photogenic! Highly recommended! ! ! !

Great Hotel, large rooms, wonderful view on the river, very clean and quiet, perfect location in old street quartier. The owner is very caring, always available, speaks english. Helps organizing trips to yellow mountains and other nice location.

When we arrived in the hot sun, the girl who picked us up from the B&B was already waiting for us. When we stepped into the hall, the breeze with the subtle fragrance of wood blew on our faces. The century-old Hui-style beams and pillars contrasted with the contemporary design. The girl stroked the carved window lattices with her fingertips and told the story of five generations guarding this old house. The moonlight in southern Anhui had not yet climbed over the horse-head wall. Seeing that we were coming back late, she offered us water and said, ”It's good to be a little tipsy, but it's better to quench your thirst.” It was very considerate and lovely. The bowl of noodles with toppings in the morning light was so fresh that I missed the runny fried eggs that I hadn't tasted yet, which added a lovely blank space to this ink painting-like stop.
