Grand Barony Hotel

The hotel is big and comfy. Good service. Breakfast with good western and eastern food. The swimming pools were fun, kids swimming pool is great. But they take noon break. The playgrounds are fun too. Gym has almost no equipment though. The beach is no Thailand of course, but not hotel fault. Fireworks at night. Over all, good place to spend with kids by the beach.

Nice view of the sea and helpful staff. Getting a didi around the hotel is a bit difficult, I’d suggest driving yourself or arranging a private driver early.

Spa we're closed. Room services came every time in the room to clean without knocking the door. Beach was dirty. Elevator are a disaster because they are not sync to each other, very very slow and long waiting line occurs.

I wanna share my experience of staying in Grand Barony Hotel. First I wanna say that I had a very big room on 27th floor and the view was great. I also liked that there was a tub in the bathroom and a large selection of food in the buffet on breakfast. I wanna praise the hotel’s manager Andy. Andy was the only one from the staff who could speak a little English. He was very polite, added my WeChat since I checked in, and helped me a lot with problems I’ve got and answered any questions I had even during his day off. Even though there were some discomfort things Andy was always trying to compensate those and make my stay comfortable. I thank him cause otherwise my stay would be worse. He asked maid to bring some stuff that they haven’t gave before, to change not working hair dryer and etc. He also provided free breakfasts for me cause there was a problem with swimming pools. The only one was open but not all the time, it was often closed (they were saying cause of pandemic). I also faced the problem with hot water. I had to wait for 5 mins every time I wanted to have a shower to hot water comes. So Andy asked the master to come but master didn’t solve the problem. I didn’t wanna try if another room that might hasn’t have this problem cause it was inconvenient, I was already unpacked and didn’t wanna spend time on it cause they say may be its every room’s problem. The plug in the bathroom didn’t work either. Andy asked if master can come and fix it but i also didn’t wanna spend time on it. In the end of my trip Andy arranged the car to take me to the railway station. During my stay there were not that many people and at times some stuff didn’t work, like lunch and dinner buffet, spa, pools and etc. Some nice places near the hotel were also closed. May be also cause there were not that many people.
