The hotel was amazing. The personnel made us feel special. We had a room upgrade and late check-out. Although it was a very busy period due to the Labor Day holiday, the personnel managed everything smoothly. The room was spotless and had an amazing view. The breakfast and dinner were rich and delicious. We highly recommend this hotel.

We arrived super late and were tired so we just checked in and went to sleep immediately. The room was spacious with a balcony. Everything was clean and pleasant. The only trouble was the wind from outside making loud noise all night from the entrance door and the balcony. The breakfast was very nice and they have a decent coffee machine. The room price was nice for one night.

I called a few times for the breakfast but it wasn’t served. Upon checkout I asked why didn’t they served the breakfast and they said I need to go to the kitchen for it. They didn’t inform us about it. They knew we are foreigners they should’ve told us upon checking in.

The hotel is nothing to look at from the outside, and there is construction work around it, but it’s new and the room was very big with comfortable beds. The beach is two minutes away and has lots of water activities, didn’t have sun loungers but deck chairs, which was fine. Some restaurants nearby. Breakfast was a little chaotic with lots of families, took a few minutes to find a free table, but was good, all the usual. Stayed one night, great location if you want to spend the day on the beach.

If you are a foreigner without a car or a friend to stay with in Huidong, I suggest you just don’t come. Getting around was awful. But I digress, let’s focus on the hotel. The rooms were nicer than the initial “hotel” we booked. It was clean in the room and that was the bare minimum we expected for over 800rmb and the bare minimum was all we received. The hotel has what appears to be black mold located in the dining hall. The people that work there, except for the lovely man who checked us in at 4am, were incredibly rude to us. When we went to breakfast the lady working told us someone had come down and used one of our breakfasts. We were confused because there were only two of us in the room and we looked to be the only foreigners who were at the hotel at the time! My friend asked if it was a foreigner and they responded no. After much arguing they let us both through. We arrived 30 minutes to closing for breakfast so I definitely take blame for there being very little food selections left. When we went to check out after standing in line for 5 minutes, a woman decided she was too good to wait in line and attempted to cut. The clerk who was in mid conversation with me stopped, turned and helped her instead. As if I didn’t pay for a hotel room as well and clearly I don’t deserve quality service because I am a foreigner. I will never return to Huidong let alone this terrible hotel.

Very good and helpful staff. The environment of the hotel was too dusty. Botched up amenities in rooms, just ok. Incomprehensible on/off switch system in rooms.

Nice hotel, very new look and the room was modern and clean. Breakfast was also good even though they have only Chinese dishes. Has a nice swimming pool in front of the beach. The only issue is that the location is at the end of the only street in the beach so if you go on a weekend in summer be prepared for very heavy traffic.

On the first day we arrived, we got a room that couldn't be locked and smelled like fish. The hotel changed our room to the 12th floor. The breakfast is standard local food. Not too many selections. There are McDonald's and other small restaurants nearby. However, we had a bad experience with the cleaners. On the second day, We put the “do not disturb” sign because we don't want the cleaner to come that day. But they cleaned it anyway. On the third day, I was sitting on the balcony, and my husband was in the toilet. Two cleaners came without knocking on the door or ringing the bell. I asked them to leave but they kept checking on things that needed to be cleaned. My husband was furious. The same day, we left the hotel.

The hotel is beautiful. My partner asked for a woman's product and the girl at the front desk was extremely rude and offered no help.

The room is clean and tidy. You can see the sea as soon as you look out. The sea view is first-class. The room was upgraded. The service is very good. Next time I come to Shuangyue Bay, I will choose Ramada again!

The experience was very bad. The takeaway could not be delivered and the front desk service was not very good. I have stayed in so many Ramada Wyndham hotels and this is probably the worst. It was very noisy at night and the room was not soundproof or lightproof. There were bugs inside and the equipment was full of holes. The metal on the side of the stool was rotten and scratched my foot and almost bled.

The worst star hotel I've ever stayed in 1. Poor attitude. We arrived late and asked the front desk to bring an extra quilt. They promised to arrange it, but no one brought it after waiting for half an hour. So, no one answered the front desk phone countless times, and no one came to explain in the end... 2. Poor facilities. Although it was just renovated a few years ago, the room is not soundproof, and the door gap is so big that the wind is so loud that I can't sleep at night... When it rains, the rain can leak into the room and corridor everywhere... 3. Poor service. My little friend dropped something valuable in the hotel. I called the hotel at noon to help check and inform us. However, a few hours later, we ran back to the hotel to pick up the things in person, and the front desk did not arrange for the aunt to clean up and verify whether the things were still there... It was really speechless. It was raining heavily that day. I drove out to get something and had to pay a deposit of 50 yuan to get an umbrella... I was speechless... My impression of Huizhou Shuangyue Bay was greatly reduced. I will never stay at the 4-star Ramada Hotel again. I checked out one day in advance and left this lousy hotel. In addition, Shuangyue Bay is a serious scam and the service cannot keep up with the flow of people. A Turtle Bay must make an appoin**ent to drive to the innermost parking lot. If the reservation is full, you will not be allowed to go up, forcing everyone to be scammed by motorcycles along the way. 10 yuan per person, I had to be tough with my baby in the heavy rain↑. However, when I arrived at the ticket gate, I found that there were still many empty spaces in the parking lot inside, and no one parked at all😤😤😤 Don't expect too much. In addition to the beach scenery, the roadside of Shuangyue Bay is basically dirty and messy. There are plastic bottles everywhere at the entrance of the scenic area. No one cares, and the hygiene is worrying.
