The hospitality and kindness from the staff was outstanding. We were almost treated as "royalties". The cleanliness was outstanding. Someone was always cleaning the tables, windows, pool and the rooms. The manager was so welcoming and took such good care of us. We can really recommend this place and will most certainly come back soon again.

We are traveling trough Egypt for 15 days as right this review and we have been in 4 different hotels. The Grand Palace was by far the best experience we had here. The service is well above the average, the facilities are just beautiful, everything is so good looking and so clean. The food is amazing considering that it is an all inclusive buffet that works practically all day, non stop… I’ve already worked in a hotel kitchen and it’s just absurd how hard it is to keep everything working tightly. Abdel was an amazing hoster, he works at the front desk and if you’re a luck enough to meet him and sure you won’t regret it! We’re looking forward to come back here on our next vacation!

Excellent hotel: clean and quiet. The rooms are clean and spacious. The beds are firm enough and wide enough. The bathroom is nice but the sink is quite high. The walk in shower is ok. We had wifi all over the place and it worked very well. The surroundings are pretty and well maintained. It was easy to walk around. The food was great but I would have liked more variety in gluten free desserts. Drinks were good enough for us. The staff was great, very friendly, helpful and considerate. We were treated like queen and king. I could name a bunch of people who were really great but I won’t because they all were so nice. We really enjoyed our holiday in this hotel and we can recommend it full heartedly.

Very good hotel with friendly staff. Especially Khaled and hit team at beach bar. Always helping and serving with a smile. Mirror pub was nice with entertainment few days a week. Pool bar staff always alert and helping with cure drinks when my wife was sick. Rooms a bit worn down but overall 5/5. A bit more flavour in the food would be nice Will for sure come back

I'm a keen traveler to Egypt and have always stayed at Red sea holidays hotels. So thought I'd try there flag ship hotel grand palace. The hotel is well presented with everything you need for a comfortable stay. . Unfortunately a few things that are important to me were a let down. . The restaurant was a let down same food every day not much variety and bit bland. Poor lighting and outdated to other hotels. No real vibe here think people think there to posh to smile and let loose. Rooms well appointed great comfy bed. Staff very friendly when tipped they make a effort but that's the culture. Overall a pleasant stay but my heart is at siva grand beach which offers so much more and has better amenities. . .

From the moment we arrived we fell in love with this hotel. Staff - AMAZING. Every single one of them work such long hours but always have a smile on their faces and nothing is ever too much. So kind and attentive. I can’t wait to go back and see some of them again. Food - for an all inclusive the choices were fantastic. A huge array of desserts, fruit and chocolate fountains. Breakfast - omelette and breads being our favourite. Room - Beach towels, room towels, robe and slippers provided. The beds are HUGE! TV had a few channels with English/American films that we watched. Mini bar with water, coke, sprite, beer. If you can, go for the swim up room, you get servers walking by your pool and bringing you drinks. Pool/Beach - we had a swim up room so only went to the large pool one day but it was fairly quiet and beds available. Beach was immaculate and the water warm. Plenty of beds free of charge and lots of servers walking round bringing drinks. Entertainment - seemed to be advertised to us the day it was happening. Usually in Mirrors Bar 👍🏼 we saw lots of dancing and great music. Extras - We paid extra for a romantic private anniversary meal on the beach in a tent with lights and our names in the sand. Special shout outs to - - Khaled - manager at the beach restaurant - amazing man and so attentive. Just a gentleman! - Mo/Mohammed at the pool bar who came to our swim up rooms daily. LOVELY JUBBLY! What a little diamond he is and so full of joy. - Shazlee our room cleaner. One of the hardest working people we met and so kind. - Ahmed in Mirrors Bar - his story and his education blew our mind, what a great young man he is! - Oosama and Ahmed in the lobby bar - tequila boom booms for days! So attentive and lovely young men. - Hany in the watch shop - could speak to him for hours. Wonderful family man and so kind. We will be back!

It was my visit number 9 in Egypt-Hurghada and I had a lot of hotels before... But the Grand Palace was very very amazing!!! From the first moment we enter the hotel-lobby everybody was so nice and friendly, so I want to mention a few names: -the reception: Mr. Abd-Al-Gauad, he was very friendly and helped us in each situation. Thank you so much!!! - restaurant: Mr. Nour Ataf, from the first dinner we felt like we are friends, every evening he was friendly and did his job so excellent, we are very thankful and we look forward to see him again at our next stay. - beach restaurant (Mexican restaurant): Dear Mr. Khaled: I have worked in the industry myself for many years, but very few people can give guests the positive and warm feeling you do. THANK YOU!!! - housekeeping: ABDUL!!!! Abdul has become like family and we would like to take this opportunity to highlight his fantastic work! He put a smile on our faces every day. Unfortunately, we were sick at times during the trip and needed some help. He was always there and helped us a lot! And seriously: No one can clean as well as Abdul. He is simply fantastic at his job and an asset to this hotel! I would say every hotel needs at least 10 Abduls!!! Of course there were also a lot of employees whose names we unfortunately didn't ask for, so we apologize! Our summary of the stay is extremely positive and we will definitely come back! The hotel is old and worn out. Compared to Sharm this is not at all worth considering as a vacation spot. Here is quite dirty everywhere. There is a big cleaning staff, but e.g. the water in the buckets is almost black from dirt. So the do not clean, but spread dirt around. In the World Restaurant the tables are dirty with food and drinks from other guests. And the extra not nice surprise for us (allergic), was there is a lot of wild carts on the hotel and the are also in the restaurant, going from table to table to 'ask' for food. The aricon in the room was smelling bad, like old food bad. Need cleaning for bacteria. The hotel is not a 5 star hotel. It has some nice pool areas, but the rest was not nice at all.
