This hotel is pretty good, but the location is not very good and it is hard to find. It takes a long time to drive. If you don't drive yourself, it is really hard to find. And there are not many things to do here. Maybe many people come here to play golf. If you don't play golf, I suggest you don't stay in this hotel. The breakfast is good.

We strongly advise against booking this hotel at this time. Significant construction work is currently underway at the resort, and unfortunately, TUI does not disclose this information until after the booking has been confirmed, and even then this information is disseminated poorly and in very fine print of the confirmation booking statement. The disruption extends beyond noise; fine construction dust is pervasive in the air, settling on guests and contaminating shared spaces, including the swimming pool. As a result, the Sunset Pool is currently closed and will remain unavailable until the completion of the works, which is projected for the end of the year. For a more relaxing and enjoyable holiday experience, we recommend considering alternative accommodations until renovations are fully completed.

Amazing stay! The whole resort is incredibly well looked after, the entire experience was sensational. Thank you to the entire team for their hospitality. In particular Abanoub, who was very helpful and welcoming. The bar and pool teams were also very hospitable, especially Kirolos in the Mint Bar! The golf courses are in exceptional condition, but it's a bit expensive when adding clubs and buggies too - especially as the clubs aren't on particularly great. The food and drinks across the resort are of a very high quality too. The all inclusive package is very clear and wide variety. Thank you Ancient Sands, I will see you again!

I can’t speak highly enough about how incredible the service and the entertainment team was Fero, Mo and Ali! They were the best and most memorable part of the experience. The food was good, rooms were spacious and clean. Overall can’t go wrong with a stay here.

Amazing is an understatement. Everything is even better as expected and advertised. The hotel staff is helpful and at your disposal 24/7. The food is 10/10, honestly. Animation team is the best in egypt by far. Always making sure you are having a blast.

We had a lovely holiday at Ancient Sands. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and kind. The bar staff/waiters work incredibly hard and are very attentive. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. Our room was spacious and cleaned to a high standard each day. The all inclusive food and drinks were good, although perhaps not entirely to our taste. The themed nights - Indian and BBQ were very good. Mo took us for a lovely bike ride to El Gouna town which we really enjoyed. The live music and dancers in the evenings were also very good but there was not a live show every day. Thanks to all the staff - Khadijah, Mo, Mina, Mohammed and more!
