Incredible hotel with amazing views, service and food. We were given a free room upgrade. If you are a keen snorkeller I would recommend walking to the veranda opposite Tropitel as the coral reef there is incredible

It's far from the go bus station, but the distance from the airport is OK.
They are all old men and women from Europe and the United States.
But the environment is great and there is a private beach.

Last visited Egypt in 2014 and didn’t rate it much. I’m glad PLR was able to change my mind. Yes, it’s not Dubai, but actually it comes close to a good 4 star equivalent and without the hefty price tag of Dubai. But what it does better is the service, the top notch food replenished quickly throughout the day, the free flowing quality drinks and of course, perfect sunshine in April. The quick thinking staff is what made it exceptional from the little crumbs dropped and immediately swept up, the parasol brought over quickly when they sense you’re uncomfortable in the sun, the towel guys asking you each time if you would like assistance. We did feel like royalty. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here, have come back a stone heavier I think! Great options for vegetarians in buffet and a la carte. Evening entertainment could be improved as is on a little too late (22.00) but hey, it’s a small improvement. We think we have found a new place to visit each spring and are already planning our next visit.

We’ve just returned from our latest holiday here and had a wonderful time.. It was everything we remembered and more from our last visit 3 years ago. The staff are incredible, we were so well looked after. The food remains some of the finest we’ve ever eaten. The attention to detail is second to none. Our glasses (or our bellies) were never empty. The level of cleanliness is superb - everywhere from our room to public areas & gardens were spotless and well maintained. We will be back later this year.

Another wonderful stay (our 6th) we stayed for 3 weeks on the 10th March. This hotel is amazing absolutely spotless everywhere. Every member of staff is worth their weight in gold they can not do enough for you. As always the legend that is Carlos supplied us with drinks around the pool, no need to get up at all this time I joined in the stretching class every morning which was really good. We ate in the al carte restaurants all excellent but our favourite is definitely the Italian. The toilets by the pool are the cleanest I have ever seen. A big shout out to Magda and Christina from guest relations who looked after us so well we were in room 2219 which was amazing so thank you. We will be back soon all being well.

Amazing hotel with some of the best staff we have ever had the pleasure to be served by. Food at the buffet and al a carte restaurants was all of the highest standard. Only complaint if you can call it a complaint is that the portion sizes at the a la carte restaurants is far too much. As a big eater myself I found it difficult to finish a full meal. Room was spotless, waiter service is excellent. Cannot fault the place. Spa is really good, massages, facials and other treatments we had were all excellent.
