The rooms were nicely redecorated, but the cleaning services were basically non-existent (only the towels were replaced and no other cleaning was done in the whole week we stayed there). The hotel should really train their staff better; it was definitely not a 4-star experience.

While this was not a perfect place for a retired couple it had a lot going for it. The room was fresh and clean, and the meals were very good. The buffet always had a good choice of decent quality food. The only downside in the restaurant was that because it is basically a family resort it was often like a noisy school canteen. There was also not much to do after your evening meal with just two outdoor bars which were quite soulless once the children’s entertainment was over at 9 o’clock. Staff were friendly and helpful, and it was in a great location, but not really the best fit for retirees.

The food is the most unseasoned food I have ever tasted. However if you stick to meat and veggies it's fine, the meat was sometimes dry though.. BUT the hotel itself was fantastic! It looks just like the photos. Great bed. The cafeteria is very loud, so we sat outside in the heat for every meal. I think this hotel is just the thing for families with small children, but I wouldn't recommend it to couples (we went as a couple). It's a lot of fun activities for childrens. At the beach, the fee for two sunbeds and a parasol were 36$ btw.. but there's sunbeds at the hotel, just get there by 10-11 to get one.

We stayed here for 4 nights with our two year old and loved it! Food great, excellent staff, relaxed atmosphere, near to nice bars/restaurants, close to the beach. Would stay again!

We had a very nice stay here in Bol. The room was newly renovated, modern and very fresh, all areas clean and very friendly staff. The food was ok, a big classic buffet, nothing spectacular but good. A bit noisy restaurant area. For a family with children I’d say it’s super, but maybe not the absolute beat option if you’re looking for a quiet romantic place.

We really liked our vacation at the Bluesun Hotel Bonaca. We could not have found a better hotel and a better destination. The rooms are newly renovated and the hotel has a new pool, however we liked the second pool better because of the rich content offered by the animation team. Every day we participated in beach volleyball, and in the afternoon in sports. There is always something for everyone and you can never get bored. I would recommend it to everyone! The food in restaurant is great, every day there is a buffet with various dishes as well as juices and beer. The staff is friendly and the rooms are always clean. We will definitely come back again!

Spend here 4 days and enjoyed our stay, great location and very convenient. It is a very family oriented property, small kids everywhere. I would recommend it for parents with small kids, dining options are great and pool options a plenty. Beach is close by and also the famous Zlatni Rat beach is only 5 minutes away.

Nice complex, food tasty, staff nice. You are never hungry, thirsty. You have a lot of acitivties for kids and a lot of opportunites for sightseeing. We were staying in pavillon IV (we booked superior room). Room was clean, but outdated and too small for three persons, and not enough space for storage for three persons. For that kind of room in my opinion it is too expensive. We were far away from the restaurant and other activites (it was ok for us and we did not mind, because it is much more quiet there). Overall it is a big and nice complex. I would stay here again if they would renovate all the rooms, so that price for staying is fair.

Overcrowded pool, terrible school canteen style food, bitter coffee and outdated, dark and basic rooms and non-smiling staff. We were very disappointed by this hotel, although it’s in a lovely area and Bol is very pretty. Definitely stay elsewhere.
