"Overall, my stay was quite disappointing due to several maintenance, comfort, and service issues that significantly affected the experience. The air conditioning was not functioning properly. There was no proper fan speed adjustment, and only one vent in the room and hallway. Because the thermostat was positioned directly under the vent, it kept switching off frequently, leaving the room uncomfortably warm at night and making it difficult to sleep. To make things worse, the hotel conducted their annual fire alarm testing over two full days during business hours with frequent on-and-off alarms. After long hours of travel, this made it very difficult to rest or sleep properly. After I complained, they offered to move me to another floor; however, that floor was also scheduled for the same testing in the coming days. Later, they only provided a courtesy letter. The kettle in the room was in poor condition with heavy calcium deposits, and when used, particles were floating in the water, making it unhygienic and unusable. In the bathroom, the power point was not working, which added inconvenience. The main rotary entrance doors were also not functioning consistently and were often switched off, which felt unprofessional for a hotel of this standard. There was no bellboy available on arrival. I had to bring a trolley myself and unload my luggage from the taxi. At night, there was noticeable water dripping and drainage noise, which disturbed sleep. Breakfast was very limited with basic options and lacked variety. Overall, the building feels very old and poorly maintained, and several areas need urgent attention to improve guest comfort and service quality."

"As an Marriott brand, it is always provide professional service. But one thing i need to mention is that their working efficiency need to improve. I contacted them for some requests but I didn't get their reply on time and didn't give the feedback whether provide or not as an famous international brand hotel this is not professional even spelling the wrong name of mine. It's ridiculous if you didn't clear you can ask me to make sure us right and you can check t my email and reservation in PMS. There were not too much choice for vegetables and fruits during breakfast time which is not fit the Marriott brand breakfast standards. I really didn't recommend this hotel. Service quality is normal."

"The service was okay, and the employees seemed responsible and helpful. The room was acceptable, but it was not the cleanest compared with other hotels I have stayed at. There was also some smell in the washroom, so I believe there may be an issue that needs attention. The breakfast was basic. There was no hot food included unless you paid extra, so it depends on how you evaluate the value. However, the restaurant for lunch and dinner was quite good, and the food quality was worth trying. Overall, it was a decent stay, but cleanliness and the washroom smell could be improved."

"The hotel is very clean and conveniently located, with free parking available. There's a supermarket right across the street, which is great for shopping, and plenty of Chinese supermarkets and restaurants nearby. They also offer complimentary breakfast and fruit. The service here is excellent! 👍 I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Toronto."

"The service was good overall. I like that it provides enough parking spaces. Just a few things: 1. there was no conditioner in the bottle. 2. no slippers provided. 3. Water was dripping from the faucet of the shower, even I tried hard to turn it off."

"I saw a charge on my credit card after I checked out for a few days. I didn’t receive any notification at check in or check out or by email so I called the front desk. He told me the charge was due to a change in tax rate and will email me a receipt but up to the moment I wrote the review I still haven’t received anything."

"I was so tired of driving from America and need a comfortable place for rest. It is very quiet and clean. I had everything I needed. I'm satisfied with the night I stayed."

"My girlfriend and I stay here very frequently to celebrate special occasions and we can’t say enough good things. We always get a jacuzzi suite and it makes for a perfect private spa experience. The bed is comfortable and although the in-room AC is considered loud by some, I personally find the noise minimal and quite comforting. They recently started providing in-room bathrobes which is a service we had always wanted. We will always trust the Monte Carlo inn locations with all of our celebrations."

"The sofa bed in the room was too soft. It was better after we took the mattress off and put it on the floor, so you might want to consider that if you plan to use the sofa bed. Overall, it was still okay."
