Lugano Hotels with Wifi

"The room was very clean, but overall had the basic necessities needed to get by. There were no charging ports by the bed, which meant we had to charge our phones by the sink (an active water outlet) which was a health and safety hazard. The bed was rock solid, which made the stay quite uncomfortable. The receptionists were really polite and made sure we had everything we needed. We saw a show at the LAC Lugano that evening which was really lovely and the hotel was conveniently located for this, but was quite tricky to find when coming from Central Lugano. The bathroom was separated into a shower and a toilet, where the sink was in the bedroom which was odd. The toilet didn’t have a lock on the door which lacked privacy and was more like a wardrobe style door, where you could hear everything going on behind it. The shower was a see-through glass door which again, lacked privacy. There were 3 coathangers to hang clothes and not a lot of storage space. The room overlooked the pool which was really lovely, and had a blackout blind to block out light in the morning. We could control the lights from a button beside our bed, which was helpful when going to sleep. However, the shower light wouldn’t turn off at night which was irritating, as when we tried to take the key card that activated the lights out, it cancelled out the power and we couldn’t charge our phones. Overall, this stay was alright for one night but we couldn’t stay here for a week. The negatives outweighed the positives massively."

"It is a very new boutique hotel located in the old town, and it is very convenient to walk around. After getting off the train, you can take their tram directly on the -1 floor (a public transportation train runs every 5 minutes, and the first stop is about 2 minutes away and it is on the right). After checking in, the hotel will send you an email allowing you to use all public transportation in Lugano for free. The room is not very big, but it is very cozy in design, and the small details are well arranged, such as the choice of pillows (which is really great), multi-national chargers that do not require converters, etc. The mini bar in the room is also completely free, and the bathroom supplies are all organic (toilet, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner). But what's a pity is the breakfast. The selection is okay, but there are too few hot foods and they are not hot. At the same time, the taste is really ordinary (although the breakfast area is the same as the Michelin restaurant, it is really not as expected). The hotel staff are very nice! It deserves great praise! Also, because I didn't want to go out, I decided to have dinner at Flame, recommended by Michelin, downstairs. The overall product was really good and worth experiencing, especially the ingredients. I could tell that the ingredients were very good, but the taste was a little salty. Guests staying in the hotel enjoy an additional 10% discount."

"Not far from the Lugano train station, there is a bus directly to the city of Lugano at the doorstep, which is quite convenient. The interior of the room is older, but it is clean and air conditioned, making it quite comfortable. Breakfast costs only 10 Swiss francs, but there are fewer choices. "

"We were given a very warm welcome by Francesca. She is an excellent asset for this hotel. She was very informative and interesting to talk to.  The hotel pool was great. Thank you Breakfast was excellent. The best we have had in a hotel for a while. A wide range of food."

"Good location in Paradiso which takes 20 minutes leisurely walk to centre of Lugano. Breakfast was great and outdoor swimming pool looked nice for summer. Room size was decent but no frills for room amenities, like no indoor slippers, no hair conditioner, no soap, etc. There is a parking under hotel which is shared with Ibis hotel and charged for everyday (23CHF?). We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed our weekend break there."

"I stayed at Best Western Hotel Bellevue au Lac for just one night, but it was a truly pleasant experience. The staff were warm and welcoming, the room was spotless, and the location was perfect—right by the lake with beautiful views. The food was delicious, and overall, everything exceeded my expectations. I’d definitely love to return for a longer stay next time!"

"Excellent central location with beautiful views of the lake and river. Close to decent traditional pubs and restaurants. Would definately recommend the Tap Bar (Hanger 32) - a self service bar - for both beer and food. We had to ask to change rooms as the original room had a strange smell and scaffolding outside where renovations were being done and builders were walking. New room was much better. There were no amenities in the room such as tea or coffee and no option to get one from reception apart from some hot water. Breakfast was tasty and filling."

"If you are booking a luxury hotel in Lugano, there is no other option for me. While it’s not right in the middle of the City, it’s in a nice and quiet area and the 10-15 minute walk to the city is great for settling the stomach after eating to much pizza. The grounds are simply stunning, the views are amazing, the breakfast buffet is not amazing but very good (Although the woman who seat you could smile a bit more, all the other staff at breakfast are great). The private Lido is awesome. I will never stay at another hotel in Lugano for our annual summer trip, it has won my loyalty for life. "
