"Location: The hotel's location is fantastic. It's about a 10-minute walk to Jingjiang Prince City, East and West Alleys, Sun and Moon Twin Pagodas, and Elephant Trunk Hill. Taxis to Reed Flute Cave and Guilin Sea of Clouds are also around 10 minutes. Excellent Service: - I needed to work, and they immediately brought a mobile desk. - I wanted to weigh myself, and there was a Xiaomi scale in the room. - I wanted to eat, and there's a 360-degree panoramic restaurant on the rooftop. The food was delicious and great value for money. We had a two-person meal with local specialty beer fish for less than 150 RMB. - The room also had detergent for underwear and hand soap. - The shampoo, body wash, and conditioner all had elegant scents of ebony agarwood and bergamot – just what I love! - When we checked out, they even gave us two complimentary bottles of water, saying water outside would be more expensive. The front desk staff was very empathetic. - I accidentally left shampoo behind, and they offered to mail it to me if needed. The room size was perfect with a floor-to-ceiling window. As soon as you enter the lobby, there's an elegant, refreshing scent, along with coffee and tea, and DIY sachet-making. Guilin often rains, and the large umbrellas at the front desk were very convenient. Overall, I'm very satisfied! 👍 Highly recommend!"

"The room was spacious, bright, and comfortable. The service was excellent; they even called ahead to confirm our check-in time and needs for the next day. The location is superb, right by the lake with direct views of the Sun and Moon Pagodas. It's also very convenient for getting to the pedestrian street. Since my friend had a child with her, the hotel arranged a car to take us to the high-speed rail station and even gave us a souvenir, which was a very thoughtful touch. If I get the chance to visit Guilin again, I will definitely choose to stay here."

"The hotel's location is fantastic, right in the city center, yet it's surprisingly quiet at night, ensuring a peaceful sleep! They also arrange parking, which was incredibly convenient as we didn't have to search for a spot ourselves. In the evening, it was super easy to walk to attractions like Shan Lake, the Sun and Moon Pagodas, and East and West Alley – most were just a pleasant 5-10 minute stroll away. The lobby offered freshly brewed Luo Han Guo tea, and the front desk staff, noticing we had sore throats, even gifted us some upon checkout – so thoughtful! Our room was clean and tidy, with all the necessary amenities. While it's not a brand-new hotel, you can tell it's very well-maintained. There's also a self-service laundry room and a restaurant upstairs. The breakfast had a great variety, and the Guilin rice noodles were particularly delicious! Overall, a really good experience!"

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent location, great service, slightly dated facilities but still recommended. 🚩 Location & Transport: Right in the city center on Binjiang Road, within walking distance to Elephant Trunk Hill, Sun and Moon Pagodas, and East-West Alley. There's a bus stop and shared bikes right downstairs. For those driving, there's a free parking lot with charging stations, super convenient. 🛏️ Room Facilities: Got an upgrade to a river view room. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a direct view of the Li River and Elephant Trunk Hill. However, the 4th-floor view isn't great as it's blocked by large trees on the street, obscuring the river. The room was clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding, though the bed was a bit small and the room size was on the smaller side. The decor felt a little traditional. Some outlets didn't have USB ports, so bringing your own charging adapter is recommended. 🍽️ Breakfast: A wide variety of Western pastries. The highlight was the freshly made Guilin rice noodles – both the dry stir-fried and soup versions were delicious. They also had Gongcheng oil tea, desserts, and fruit. 🤝 Service: The front desk staff were warm and professional, proactively upgrading our room and giving us a small gift. Their response time was very quick. 💡 Suggestions: Lower floors facing the street might experience noise, so light sleepers might want to bring earplugs. "Upgraded to a balcony room for one night, directly facing the beautiful Li River and Fubo Hill. The evening breeze was so pleasant. The double sinks, toilet, and shower room were all separate, which was very convenient. Later, we moved to a 180-degree river view room, where I could just relax on the tatami mat and gaze at the river – truly a stolen moment of leisure. The oversized bathtub was perfect for a relaxing soak and stress relief. The mini-bar was free, and the complimentary fruit at night was delicious. The butler and front desk staff were all so kind, polite, and provided excellent service, always ready to help. They proactively asked daily if we needed anything, if the room temperature was comfortable, or if we wanted to choose different pillows. We slept wonderfully every night. The hotel breakfast offered a great variety, including two types of rice noodles (dry and soup). There were also two kinds of herbal teas daily, like luo han guo and goji berry. We had dinner à la carte, and the food was delicious, the ambiance beautiful, making it perfect for photos. The hotel package included a photoshoot with a good selection of outfits. The photographer was patient and meticulous, and selecting the photos was a smooth process. My mom absolutely loved the hotel's cultural handicraft experience; she made three phone charms and really enjoyed it. I also tried the hotel spa. The masseuse was quiet throughout but worked hard, and her technique was very good. The most memorable part of our Guilin trip was our stay at Lijiang Courtyard. We felt completely at home. "The hotel is located right by Rong Lake, near the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area, which is very quiet. In the mornings, you can hear birds chirping from the park. It's a 15-minute walk to the free Elephant Trunk Hill scenic area, and a 7-minute walk to see the Sun and Moon Pagodas at night, where you can also take a cruise. This location pretty much covers all the attractions in Guilin city. All the hotel staff were lovely, and I especially want to thank a female staff member or supervisor at the front desk – I'm not entirely sure which she was. It had been raining for days, and after checking out, we canceled our train to Yangshuo, fearing flooding and that we wouldn't be able to enjoy ourselves there. She told us that since we had traveled so far, we should still go and see it, as the scenery is beautiful and it doesn't rain constantly; we wouldn't know until we got there. So, we re-bought our tickets and went. She even helped us make a waterproof cover for our child's camera, which was incredibly thoughtful. When we got there, we found it hadn't rained for the past two days, and we were able to enjoy bamboo rafting and everything. The scenery truly was breathtaking, and it was definitely worth the trip! Coming all the way from Beijing, it certainly made our long journey worthwhile. We came here in a hurry this time and didn't plan anything, relying entirely on the information and advice from the front desk concierge. Their explanations made everything so much clearer. We'll definitely choose this place again for our next trip."

"Before coming to Guilin, I did a lot of research, looking for a hotel that was comfortable, safe, and had a good environment. I found this one, and I was genuinely amazed when I walked in. Since I was traveling solo, the environment, service, and safety were all incredibly important to me. You need to swipe your room card to use the elevator, and all the rooms are smart. The staff even gave me an extra power card for when I left, so the room wouldn't be hot when I returned – it truly is a fully smart room, unlike some hotels that claim to be smart but then half the features don't work. The environment is really great and very clean. I even took a lot of photos! Plus, the service was excellent. I met four people at the front desk, and they were all wonderful. Food deliveries were even brought up by a robot! The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the bed was really soft, haha. Maybe those who prefer hard beds might not like it. Furthermore, Zhengyang Street is right next door, about a one or two hundred-meter walk. The entrance to Elephant Trunk Hill is a five-minute walk, and the Sun and Moon Pagodas are also nearby. All in all, it was a fantastic experience."

"The room was decent, clean, and well-equipped, even though it had a slightly older style. They even provided a free extra bed. The environment was absolutely beautiful, with a stunning garden featuring peacocks and a small zoo. Unfortunately, it rained heavily during our visit, so we couldn't use the outdoor children's facilities. It was a shame that the indoor playground was also unavailable. The pool was fantastic – perfectly heated and very clean. My only minor complaint is that inner tubes had to be rented or purchased. But the absolute highlight was the breakfast! It was incredible, truly amazing, and the service was impeccable. A special shout-out to the tall, slender manager in the black uniform – I apologize for not catching your name. Breakfast definitely deserves a super-duper five stars! Room service was a bit on the pricey side. The location was quite good, with nice views of the mountains in the distance."

Choosing the Past & Present Hotel for my Yangshuo trip was absolutely the right decision! It's right by the Yulong River, so when you open the window, you're greeted by mountains and flowing water, with bamboo rafts drifting past – it's like living inside a traditional Chinese ink painting. The room was clean and comfortable, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering an incredible view. The bedding was soft, the toiletries smelled lovely, and the Dyson hairdryer was a definite plus. The housekeeper was attentive and always available when needed, without being intrusive. The breakfast was varied and delicious, especially the Guilin rice noodles. In the evening, they even offer a complimentary sweet soup. The infinity pool and large lawn are perfect for photos. The location is both quiet and convenient, with free parking. My entire stay was relaxing and rejuvenating. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Yangshuo. Highly recommend!

Five-star rating plus 9 photos for my favorite B&B and its lovely hostess! Our family trip to Guilin Yangshuo this time had its ups and downs with the weather. It didn't rain as forecasted, but it was incredibly hot during the day. We ended up spending a lot of time at the B&B, but we had an absolutely wonderful experience. First off, the guesthouse was spotless, and everyone's service was incredibly kind and thoughtful. We booked the New Chinese Suite, which had large floor-to-ceiling windows. In the afternoon, we were even treated to an afternoon tea. After resting, we rented electric scooters from the B&B and went cycling along the Ten-Mile Gallery, which was fantastic. The highlight was definitely after dinner, enjoying the hostess's bartending skills at the B&B's bar. She's beautiful, has a cheerful personality, and makes excellent cocktails. We kept enjoying drink after drink into the evening. Next time when it's cooler, I'll definitely be back to Yangshuo for rafting and to stay at this B&B again. See you then!

Came to Guilin with my best friend and we were so happy with our stay at the Versailles Hotel! The location is fantastic, the service is thoughtful, and the facilities are comprehensive. We loved the modern style and the environment was really nice and clean. It's close to all the main attractions and there are tons of great food options nearby. A special shout-out to the front desk staff – they were so enthusiastic and attentive, always quick to help with anything we needed. We really felt the hotel's personalized service and management. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Guilin. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. They regularly checked if we needed anything and made us feel truly valued throughout our stay. The breakfast was extensive, with a great variety of fresh, high-quality food to choose from every morning. One of the highlights was the spa. We enjoyed a traditional Thai massage on two consecutive days because it was simply that good! We were also pleasantly surprised by the hotel’s laundry service. The lovely lady who took care of our laundry did an amazing job, and everything was perfectly clean, fresh, and dry the very next day. Her kindness and dedication really stood out. This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so comfortable and memorable. Greetings from the Netherlands!

This hotel in Yangshuo is absolutely fantastic! The room was clean and comfortable, with stunning mountain views. Waking up and opening the window to a lush green landscape was so relaxing and refreshing. The front desk offers electric bike rentals that are in excellent condition with plenty of battery life, and at a great price. It was super convenient for riding to Yulong River and Ten-Mile Gallery, allowing us to enjoy the scenery with the wind in our hair – so free and enjoyable. The service was thoughtful and attentive, making getting around incredibly easy. The value for money is unbeatable; choosing this place for your trip to Yangshuo is definitely the right call!

This hotel is super convenient for getting around, and having its own parking lot means zero stress if you're driving. The rooms are spacious and spotless, with all the amenities you could ask for. Plus, each room has a private balcony where you can wake up to stunning views of rolling mountains and the lake – it's incredibly soothing and refreshing. The hotel's facilities are really thoughtful, too. The breakfast buffet offers a great variety, and they even have a dedicated shuttle service to and from West Street. The staff are attentive and provide excellent service, and the overall atmosphere is quiet and elegant. It's perfect whether you're traveling with family or friends. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Yangshuo!

The hotel boasts an excellent location right next to Rong Lake, practically part of the city park. The stunning lake and mountain scenery are right before your eyes. The hotel itself is a classic Republican-era building, exuding a sense of history and cherished memories, like a quiet, wise elder full of stories. Our room even had a balcony, and sitting there sipping tea while gazing at Rong Lake below truly felt like escaping the hustle and bustle, bringing a sense of calm. The hotel also kindly provided coffee vouchers, which helped pass the time while waiting for our flight.

Yunman Tianjian is the most comfortable restaurant in Ping'an Village, with a convenient location, perfect scenery, a very nice owner, and excellent cooking skills 👍. We originally planned to stay one night, but ended up staying another! 😄

My overall stay exceeded expectations. The hygiene was impeccable, and the hot water was consistently available 24/7. The staff were friendly and gentle. The hotel is conveniently located with plenty of options for dining and shopping nearby. It was great value for money, and I had a very restful night. This is definitely my top choice for accommodation when traveling. Highly recommended!
