"The first moment I stepped into the hotel, the cake service was as smooth as the spring breeze. The front desk staff greeted the guests with a warm and professional greeting, accompanied by a cup of clear and sweet welcome tea, and the check-in process became a kind of enjoyment. It is a great blessing to be able to change into clean clothes at any time during the trip. The hotel's free self-service laundry and drying service is intimate, like a silent butler who takes care of the daily needs of guests. The heated swimming pool and 24-hour gym are even more unexpected during the trip.
The breakfast in the early morning the next day was a feast of vision and taste. "Breakfast was good. The location is in the north of Jianyang District, about a 10-minute drive from the bustling business district. The hotel is adjacent to Jianxi River. There are trails and green belts along the river suitable for walking. What I'm not very satisfied with is that the hotel's swimming pool and gym were contracted out. The swimming pool only opened at 12 noon, and I couldn't swim before checking out in the morning."

The hotel's location is even more advantageous, with transportation extending in all directions and a wide range of dining and entertainment facilities nearby, providing great convenience for travel. It is a 14-minute drive from the Menghualu tourist attraction, a 12-minute drive from Jianzhan Street Commercial Centre, and a 3-5-minute drive from the expressway intersection. The hotel is a 30-minute drive from the Wuyi Mountain scenic spot. The hotel is equipped with Hilton-like latex mattress, goose down quilt core, central air conditioning, intelligent bathroom curtains, and Baixi banquet restaurant downstairs. It is a very convenient location for eating, staying and travelling. Staying in the hotel is warm, quiet and comfortable, so that you feel at home!
"Returning to Zhejiang from Fujian, I chose to rest here for a while, but I didn't expect a surprise. The hotel is on the edge of the city, very quiet and has a good environment. Although it is small but exquisite, the facilities are quite new, and it can indeed be called a boutique hotel. The parent-child room is large and has a balcony, which is relatively breathable. Milk and bread were also delivered in the evening. Parking is convenient, there is an underground garage, and the signs are very clear, so it is not difficult to find at all. It's very close to Wanda and convenient for eating. The bedding is also soft and comfortable. The bathroom shower is huge. All in all, very satisfied and recommended."

SSharonWe were delighted to have found and stayed at this property. Minzhushanfang is a very new bed-and-breakfast accommodation with a minimalist, calming, zen-style architecture befitting of the Wuyishan area. The rooms are similarly designed along the same minimalist, zen concept and are true to the property photos published on the booking platform. We deliberately chose an accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of town and so, found the location of Mingzhushanfang excellent. Located directly across from the entrance of the Wuyishan scenic area, it was very convenient accessing the park while being peaceful and tranquil. Do note that with its location being away from town centre, dining options at or near the property aren't many, so having dinner near town, prior to heading back to the hotel at night is strongly recommended.
The room we booked has a peaceful stream view, and looks remotely across towards the Dawangfeng peak. Room and facilities are very clean. While it seems smoking is not prohibited in the rooms, we were very thankful we had no issues whatsoever with residual smoke odour.
The owners of this property, who are also tea growers and manufacturers, were extremely hospitable. We were always welcomed for candid tea tastings and conversation at the lobby area, They even went out of their way to help us when we got abit lost in town! Their breakfast made by their Ah Yi is wholesome and amazing - with a lot of farm-to-table ingredients freshly harvested from their own vegetable patch. I would love to go back to visit Wuyishan again and will not hestiate to stay at Minzhushanfang again.

This time I had the opportunity to come to Wuyishan for a business trip and booked this B&B. I couldn’t fault the cleanliness, the food was exciting, and the service was impeccable. I couldn’t recommend it more. ! The boss and his family are very nice, highly recommended! The profound Wuyi tea culture is vividly reflected in the B&B. The tea is very fragrant.

The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. After our booking was confirmed, they proactively reached out to ask about our itinerary and made preparations in advance.
The property consists of two villas; the one we stayed in had an elevator. We also received a complimentary room upgrade, and our room featured a large bathtub.
The room was spotlessly clean, and the attention to detail was exceptional. They provided numerous hangers, making it easy to dry clothes, and even supplied laundry detergent and other essentials – truly anticipating every guest's needs.
There was a generous selection of snacks, and six bottles of mineral water were provided at once in the room, with more available for free at the front desk.
Both the entrance and lobby were stylishly designed. Downstairs, guests could sample high-end black tea, which was also available for purchase in small packets.
Breakfast was also good, and importantly, they allowed guests to pack items to go. Although officially starting at 6:30 AM, you could actually grab some food much earlier, which was a great convenience for those heading out for early morning bamboo rafting.
Overall, it was an excellent experience. The hotel felt very warm, thoughtful, and left us thoroughly satisfied.

GGuest UserI've stayed in five star hotels around the world, and this was among the best if not the best. And certainly in terms of price/performance, it could not be beat. We paid HK$1200 (about US$150) for a 45 sq meters room with balcony. Things got off to a good start when they upgraded us to a villa which would have been perhaps 30% more expensive had we selected that....still an amazing deal. The room was pure luxury, with every amenity you could want. No cutting corners in this hotel, everything was top quality, right down to the little fountain in the courtyard of our villa.
All the staff were very helpful and professional. I don't speak Mandarin, so my wife was in charge of communication and had no complaints at all. Some of the staff spoke English, but certainly not all of them, so a translation app might be useful. Our villa was a 20 minute walk from the restaurant and reception, so we had to call for a buggy ride, but never had to wait more than a few minutes.
The breakfast buffet is huge and caters to both Chinese and western tastes with lots of fruit and vegetables available. The baguette was outstanding even for a western five star -- to find this quality bread in a Chinese hotel was very surprising.
The swimming pool and the gym looked great, but after a full day in the park, both of us were too tired to take advantage of either.
The hotel is 20 minutes walk away from the main bus station within the National Park. On the first day you need to take a ten minute taxi ride to the South Entrance to buy your ticket. After that you can ask the front desk for directions to the Wuyi Palace bus stop which will save you time -- or take a taxi there which will save you even more time.

Spending quiet moments in the tea lounges, sipping local brews while enjoying the calming decor, was a true highlight of my stay.
One of the standout features of this hotel is the breakfast. Every morning, I was greeted with an impressive variety of dishes — both local specialties and more familiar options — all fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Whether you’re a fan of savory or sweet, there’s something for everyone, and the attention to quality was evident in every bite.
But what truly made my experience unforgettable was the support the hotel provided in helping me explore the area. They introduced me to a local guide named Spring, and I am so grateful they did. Spring was incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and passionate about Wuyi. Thanks to her, I was able to discover hidden gems, learn about the rich cultural heritage of the region, and gain insights I never would have found on my own. Her guidance added so much depth and meaning to my visit.

The service is very warm. When I arrived there late at night, the woman at the check-in desk walked me through the various attractions in the Wuyishan Scenic Area, and provided a helpful map. Similarly, when I left, the hotel staff helped me arrange my taxi to the train station.
The room was spacious, modern, and clean. They provide water bottles and Wuyishan tea. The shower was very comfortable, too. The room was a great place to relax after a long day of mountain climbing.
There are many good amenities too. They sell Wuyishan tea sets at the front desk for a reasonable price. They have a self-service laundry room. They also have a yummy hot breakfast buffet for $25, which I think is reasonable as well. The woman running the breakfast buffet was very warm too.
Finally, the location is good for exploring Wuyishan. There is a bus stop 3 minutes away where you can catch a free city bus to the South Entrance. The hotel is about a 25 minute walk from the Wuyi Palace, and there is a city bus you can catch to there too. The Sangu District, where the hotel is located, is clean and there are many shops and restaurants nearby. I enjoyed walking the main road at night.
In conclusion, I would highly recommend this hotel for a trip to Wuyishan.
