Yangzhou Hotels with Wifi

"We stayed in a Grand Deluxe Courtyard King Room (1st floor with courtyard) in Building 8, Furong Garden. To break it down: Building 8 is close to Slender West Lake (not lakeside, but within walking distance). The 'Mountain View' rooms overlook a green forest, while 'Water View' rooms face an inner courtyard pond. If you want a small courtyard, definitely choose a 1st-floor room; I assume rooms on the second floor and above are called 'scenic view' rooms. I took some photos of the exteriors of rooms 105 and 108 during cleaning for everyone's reference. **Amenities:** Yangzhou in early summer was hot and humid, but having a small courtyard made it feel much more open. I can only imagine how pleasant it would be to drink tea there when it's cooler. The mattress firmness was perfect for me (not too soft), and the air conditioning was quiet with stable temperature control. The room came with a dehumidifier, which was very practical, especially after hanging clothes. The staff even brought over a drying rack when they came for turndown service and helped set it up – a definite plus. The bathtub came with Bvlgari toiletries, and Evian water was provided (they were generous with replenishments). I can't quite remember how many mini-bar items there were, four or five perhaps. The first round was complimentary, and they didn't check it upon checkout. A large bottle of Nongfu Spring water was also provided for tea, which was appropriate for the price point. **Service:** Throughout our stay, the service was comfortable and stress-free. From the lobby to the butler, every staff member was professional and patient, answering questions clearly and efficiently. The shuttle service within the garden was on-call; whether by WeChat or phone, we rarely waited more than a few minutes – completely hassle-free. **Additional tips on dining and attractions:** We didn't plan much in advance, mostly checking things on the fly and asking the butler. A small suggestion for the hotel: it might be helpful to compile frequently asked questions and relevant local information to proactively send to guests. **Quyuan Teahouse:** Turn right out of Building 8's lobby, cross two small bridges, and you're there. We had both breakfast and dinner there. The prices are on the higher side, but the experience was well worth it. For breakfast on Saturday, we got a number at 8 AM and walked right in. For dinner, we were also among the first to be seated at 5 PM (Note: some rooms in Building 8 have windows directly facing the teahouse, so if this is a concern, you can inquire with the front desk beforehand). **Slender West Lake:** During the day, you can enter directly from the stone bridge next to the teahouse (admission fee applies). For night tours, you need to take the shuttle to the hotel's south gate, walk along the asphalt road to the main road, and then cross a bridge past the pedicabs to reach the south gate. The night boat tour is not recommended; the views are limited, and it's purely for transport. However, the park's night performance is worth seeing, especially since you're already there. **A small reminder:** Building 8 is not waterside, so if you're looking for a lake view right outside your window, you'll need to choose another building. Also, as regular guests, we didn't experience many high-end services, but based on our personal experience, our three-day, two-night stay far exceeded expectations. This room type is a definite recommend!"

"It takes only 1 minute to walk to Zhiweibao to taste the new Huaiyang cuisine. It takes 4 minutes to walk to Bixiangju Tea House across the street from the hotel to enjoy refreshments. It takes more than 10 minutes to walk to Pishi Street and Heyuan. It is close to the ancient canal, and you can walk along the river to the Muslim Mecca-Puhaddin Garden. The front desk service is warm. The store turns on the air conditioner in the room in advance, so you can experience the appropriate temperature when you check in. The hair dryer is very useful. The jasmine white tea and tangerine peel white tea provided by the hotel taste good. When checking out, the temperature in Yangzhou rose, and a few bottles of mineral water were sent thoughtfully."

"Every time I'm on a business trip, I love staying at the Wenchang Road International Convention and Exhibition Center branch. The rooms are newly renovated, and just a left turn out of the lobby brings you to Mingyue Lake Park, perfect for a refreshing and healthy walk. The service is warm and friendly; they even upgraded my room since I'm a regular guest, which made me really happy. Thank you!"

"Staying at the Mercure Hotel Dongguan Street for my trip to Yangzhou, my overall experience far exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Dongguan Street, making it super convenient to go out for food and sightseeing. We originally booked a king room, but the front desk staff, seeing we had a baby with us, thoughtfully upgraded us to a family king room free of charge – what a pleasant surprise! The room came with a super large 2.2-meter bed, spacious, and the bedding was clean and comfortable. The family room details were incredibly well thought out; all furniture corners had anti-collision guards, the room decor was also very suitable for children, and the cleanliness was impeccable. Our baby could safely play on the bed, giving us a complete sense of security while traveling with a child. The staff were warm and attentive, and they even offered comforting wontons as a late-night snack. They were delicious and savory, a perfect treat after a day of sightseeing. Both the hardware environment and the humanistic service are outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel for families visiting Yangzhou with children!"

"Huge thanks to the wonderful Emma for all the advance arrangements – she was incredibly thoughtful without being intrusive, truly a high-EQ beauty! Even before arriving, I already felt happy. Facilities: The hotel facilities are very well-maintained, completely alleviating any minor concerns I had. The gym and pool are both excellent. Hygiene: Housekeeping was prompt; truly five-star cleanliness. Environment: The lake view is beautiful, and the hotel's own little garden is charmingly secluded. It's within 20 minutes of the high-speed rail station, Slender West Lake, Dongguan Street, and the Grand Canal Museum, making the location extremely convenient. Service: I must thank Emma again! She arranged the room early and even helped turn on the air conditioning in advance, so I could enjoy the night view as soon as I entered. She answered all my small questions patiently. This will be my top choice for accommodation when I visit Yangzhou again. "Excellent! Very satisfied, the facilities are complete. It's great value for money. Getting to Dongguan Street, Ge Garden, and He Garden isn't too far. The front desk service is superb; every time we asked for information, they were incredibly enthusiastic and gave excellent suggestions, even helping us avoid potential issues. It's still quite cold in Yangzhou in the mornings and evenings, though it warms up a bit at noon, and they'd advise us to wear more layers when going out – truly like family. They proactively addressed our needs during our stay and basically solved any problems we had immediately, enhancing our experience. It's really wonderful, five-star rating!"

"The hotel has a good location and convenient transportation. The environment is excellent and the facilities are relatively complete. It is clean and tidy, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. However, there is only one shower head, and it is positioned low, so people over 1.8 meters tall need to squat to shower."

There was also a small sofa by the window, perfect for relaxing and watching the street view at night. The soundproofing was excellent; even though it faced the street, I couldn't hear any noise. "Our family had a wonderful trip to Yangzhou in March, and the Crowne Plaza Yangzhou was perfectly located in the bustling Guangling District, making it super convenient to get around. The hotel management seemed professional, and our stay was pleasant. Parking was easy, and although some of the facilities showed their age, it was clear that cleanliness and service were top-notch. The swimming pool, sauna, and gym were all great. The only minor drawback was that the complimentary tickets for the Zhuyu Zoo were limited to two per room, regardless of the number of guests. This meant some of our family couldn't go for free, which felt inefficient and probably hurt the hotel's intended marketing impact."

"The hotel's location in the city is very convenient for getting around, being close to Slender West Lake and Dongguan Street. The breakfast offers a rich and varied selection, and dining on the 26th floor provides a great view of the entire city. It was a nice alternative to sightseeing, especially since the scenic spots were closed. Just a small suggestion: it would be great if the staff could try to avoid making too much noise when clearing plates."
