I saw on Ctrip before that the prices of Yangzhou Wuyi Hotel are flying high. Even far away places cost about 1,000. This price may seem expensive at first, but it is still okay after comparing all aspects. I used to stay in chain hotels and didn’t believe in folk inns, but after seeing it online, I couldn’t forget it. I thought it was a super interesting inn, so I decided to book it. Location: Pi Shi Street, 200 meters from Guangling Youyan, 200 meters from Pi Shi Street, about 1 kilometer from Dongguan Street, and about 300 meters from Heyuan. Overall, the attractions are all around, so you can come back to rest after a while and go out again. It only takes about 20 minutes to walk to Wenchang Pavilion. Looking down from the hotel, there are classical houses, which are very beautiful. Environment: The room is quite big, with a simple wooden table and bed, Dyson air purifier, Dyson hair dryer, tea, snacks, and a small music box. There are many customized and unique little things. I am the type who eats, drinks, and lies down when I arrive at a place. I feel comfortable lying here for two days. Others: There are not many rooms in the hotel, so it is also very quiet, and breakfast is provided. There is a large hall where you can drink coffee, tea, play the piano, and watch projections. The store also made a guide to the surrounding delicious places. When you leave, you can also prepare small specialties and a custom canvas bag. There is also a loft with sofas, flowers, and telescopes. You can enjoy the scenery in the loft and feel the style of the old city of Yangzhou. Although the surrounding navigation is all red, you can feel the slow life of Yangzhou here. ps: It is next to the fire station, which makes you feel safe, hahaha.

DDayna LeeHotel is on Pishi Street, iconic cobbled stones street that is for shopping and photo taking. Hotel staff called the day before checking in, and pulled us into a wechat group that tells us the landmark to take car to, what to do if we drive, and some recommendations for food if we need. They also ask if we have a ETA so that they know and are ready for us. When we reached, their staff brought me to my room, helped me carry my box luggage up to the 2nd floor of the side alley. He helped me set up the aircon (it was originally set to heater mode) and also set up wifi. There is water provided in the fridge at lobby. Apparently the lobby will be locked after 10.30pm and have to access from small side glass door by keycard. Cute and furry cats in the lobby. They provided fruits on the 1st day of stay. Place is convenient and very clean. They provided facial products and even eye masks. Very well put together place and totally justify the price you pay. We just have to wechat them and they will immediately respond. Upon check out, the girl at the counter helped me bring down my heavy luggage again. I had some issues with the lock of the door the 2nd day and they immediately rectified it, and also switched me to a next door room. Thank you to the young chap and young girl at lobby for all the helpful help. Thank you for the lovely stay. Will recommend u to friends if they ask for recs.

GGuest UserWe visited Yangzhou for the weekend with our children. This hotel came highly recommended by a friend, and it truly surpassed her expectations – what a fantastic stay! Its location is incredibly convenient; Pi Shi Street is within walking distance, and Slender West Lake is just a 10-15 minute taxi ride away. The room amenities are very thoughtful, including a mini-fridge and a disinfection cabinet, plus they provided two key cards. Breakfast was also plentiful. The lobby offers complimentary coffee and snacks, creating a warm and relaxing ambiance. Many thanks to the staff for their enthusiastic welcome. We look forward to staying here again!

GGorikThis was just perfect! Through my rewards program we received a very nice upgrade to a courtyard room with bathtub, which we used. The hotel’s location is perfectly situated between Dongguan street and Pishi street (the latter is the nicer one, Dongguan st is just very touristy), so both are well reachable on foot. The hotel is new and comfortable, in a beautiful historic setting, garden included. The floor heating creates a comfortable environment in the room, and the staff go out of their way to help you with whatever you may need. We enjoyed our little foto shoot with Xiaohe from Xiaowan Lüpai too, shot on the premises. One remark for international visitors: the sockets in the rooms are 2 and 3 pin flat sockets, not the universal round ones you usually see in China hotels. You might need an adapter to charge your devices. However our room also had direct USB A and C plugs in the wall, so this was not really an issue. We were very impressed with Yangzhou, there’s plenty of things to see, like Shouxihu, Ge Garden, Daming Temple etc, and then there’s the local Huaiyang cuisine of course. You can easily spend 3 days here, it’s lovely.

GGuest UserOn my way to university, I was lucky to be able to relax in such a poetic and warm place. From the quaint decorations to the warm lighting, it was all pleasant. The room was clean and tidy, the beds were comfortable and soft, equipped with a dehumidifier, and the northerners could easily stay, giving me a full rest during my tired journey. The service of the inn is even more impeccable. Everyone is warm and friendly. I just bid farewell to my family and feel the warmth of home again. In addition, the surrounding environment of the inn is also very beautiful, with both quiet alleys and convenient commercial streets. TTim Captures MomentsWe stayed here for one night at the start of our Yangzhou trip to enjoy the hot springs, and overall it was a mixed but pleasant experience. The room was large and spacious, which we appreciated, but it didn’t feel especially comfortable or cosy compared to other hotels we stayed at later in the trip. The layout felt more functional than relaxing. One important thing to note is the private hot spring attached to the room. While it sounds great in theory, in our case it was located close to a road and not very private, with limited screening. The shower area was also visible from outside, which made it feel a bit awkward to use and reduced the sense of privacy we were expecting. That said, the service was excellent. Staff were friendly, helpful, and genuinely attentive, which made a positive difference to the stay. The location is very nice, especially if you enjoy walking. The hotel is close to Slender West Lake, with its beautiful old bridges, pathways, and water crossings — very pleasant for a slow walk. We also enjoyed having tea by the lake, although it was a long walk from the hotel. Breakfast offered a good variety, but most items didn’t feel very fresh. The coffee, unfortunately, was among the worst we’ve had — definitely not one for coffee lovers (said with a smile 😄). Overall, this is a good option if your priority is hot springs, walking access to the park, and attentive service, but it may not suit travellers who value privacy, comfort, or a more refined in-room hot spring experience.

I was very satisfied with the front desk service from the beginning of the check-in. The service awareness was very good, and a disposable hot spring bag was given. The room was OK, with smart guest control and no odor. It snowed heavily in Yangzhou in the morning when I arrived, and it was said that hail fell... In such a cold day, the air conditioning and heating effect are very good, but the private hot spring is on the balcony. It was a bit cold when the breeze blew when entering and exiting the water. Of course, I didn't feel cold at all when I was soaking. I was sweating all over.... The hot spring pool is a bathtub type, very clean, and the water discharge speed is OK, unlike some private hot spring pools I visited before, some of which are dirty inside. I hope to install a curtain or something to block the wind, otherwise children will easily catch a cold. The breakfast is also good, and the dishes are relatively rich in my opinion. GGuest UserThe place is beautiful. The rooms/cottages of the hotel are spread around a nice area. There is a vegetable garden and kids could feed the goats and rabbit. My kids loved the hotel and the room. Front desk gave us kids slippers and toothbrushes and a bag full of treats and snacks for the kids. Beds were very comfortable and the family room was beautiful with a balcony looking to the canal. Black swans swimming in there. The private outside hot bathtub was cool. They gave us some activity tickets (kids cookies baking, two free coffee cups and free entrance to the park beside), sadly we couldn’t use them, because we came noon and went to visit a different area , then left the next day after breakfast. The outside hotel surroundings are nice and peaceful. The food was great! Breakfast buffet is delicious. I would recommend it. There was a staff speaking English, but was not necessary for us. The service is very good and friendly…I’ll return.

The room is also very clean and comfortable. With the support of Xiaodu, it is very convenient to control various electrical appliances in the room. The dry and wet separation design of the bathroom is very good, and going to the toilet and taking a shower do not affect each other.
