"Our first trip to Bintan Lagoi was truly memorable, and our stay at Four Points by Sheraton Bintan, Lagoi Bay made it even more special. From the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome at the Emerald Class lobby. The bellboy greeted us with such energy and friendliness—it immediately set a positive tone for our stay. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that complimentary shuttle service is provided for all guests, which made getting around very convenient. The hotel is also just about 10 minutes from the ferry terminal, making it easily accessible. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were welcomed with genuine smiles by the reception team. The check-in process was smooth, fast, and efficient. Our room was clean, comfortable, and offered a beautiful view of Lagoi Beach. The hotel amenities were impressive for a 4-star property. We especially enjoyed the huge family pool, the 24-hour gym, and the convenience of 24-hour room service. The pricing was also very reasonable for the quality of stay provided.Location is great near to the beach and Lagoi Bay plaza. Food at Rempah Kitchen was definitely one of the highlights. The local Indonesian dishes are a must-try—especially Rawon Sumsum and Gado Gado, which we would rate a solid 9/10. The breakfast spread was good overall, though there’s room for improvement in the Western selections and milkshakes. We also appreciated the complimentary photo shoot, along with a photo frame to take home as a lovely keepsake. This is a destination we would highly recommend for both couples and families. The service throughout our stay was truly top-notch. A special mention goes to Niken at the front desk—she was always smiling, warm, and incredibly service-oriented. The restaurant team and all other hotel staff were equally attentive and welcoming. Thank you, Four Points by Sheraton Bintan, Lagoi Bay, for such a wonderful experience. We truly enjoyed our short stay and look forward to returning again."

"Hotel was clean and located in the Lagoi resort area which is where we wanted to be, however the hotel seems old, the gym was a sad excuse with just dumbbells, order food at the rooftop cafe, quiet flavourless, service was good despite the hotel being empty but was still asked to check in at 3pm or pay IDR200k luckily this was not much of an issue as we had activities arranged, that said the room was comfortable enough however the AC stopped working the last night I was there and didn’t come on again causing me to lose sleep."

"The property was taken over from an older hotel and has been refurbished and renovated under the Mövenpick brand. The rooms are new, modern and clean. They are still in soft launch stage, so some adult-focused amenities like the spa and beach club are not operational yet. That said, most of the kids’ facilities are up and running, my kids especially loved the kids’ club, arcade room and the pool. The beach was clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast spread was good. The complimentary afternoon chocolate buffet was also a lovely, thoughtful touch. Given the very reasonable pricing during this soft launch period, it’s highly recommended for families."

"A nice resort that is not too far from ferry terminal and provide complimentary transfer. While facilities are good but in-house charges are quite high, even more than Singapore. The hotel spa is average despite almost double price else where in Indonesia. The free internet is just pathetic and they force you to buy package if not on good roaming plan."

"This hotel made me feel like I paid for a cheap stay where everything costs extra. It was the first time I've heard of paying extra for early check-in. Eventually, the staff let us check in early when they saw we weren't going to pay. Some staff members were enthusiastic, others were just okay. At the Indigo restaurant, the server rushed us to pay our bill even though it was still during working hours. The kids' play area only allows one adult and one child, which isn't very family-friendly. What, is one parent supposed to sit outside while the other takes the child in? The breakfast tasted alright, but the variety was very limited. Even though there were available tables, the staff wouldn't let us sit there, insisting we sit at a further table, presumably so as not to disturb the foreign guests next to us. Sigh. Overall, it was an okay trip with the kids, but I won't choose this place for a vacation again."

"Was here for a company retreat. Location is really far from anything else, but I kinda like it this way. Its a double storey room, with a living area and a private pool on the first floor and the bedroom on the second. Bathroom area is huge, there is some smell at the shower area, think its the drainage issue, and the sick is a lottle rusty. But the wonderful and friendly staff of the resort make all these small imperfection, perfect! Good job to the team! Oh, i was surprise by the breakfast spread 😃 quite a good spread of local and western choices that i kinda overeat 🤣. And credit to the chef too! I had lunch and dinner at Azura, food taste good! Recommend for family and friends gatherings."

"On the first day, I got a room with bed bugs on the mattress. I initially thought they were just from the pillows, so I removed them (slept without a pillow) because I saw a few on the pillows and the mattress where the pillows were. On the second day, when I returned to the hotel in the afternoon to rest, the bugs had spread all over the mattress. I called hotel staff to check, and luckily, they immediately changed my room to a bigger and, of course, clean one! 👍🏻 Thanks a lot to the hotel management! 🙏🏻 Finally got a good night's sleep on the second night."

"A lovely resort with very attentive staff.  Breakfast selection is extensive. Love the freshly cut Fruits and the range of sambal offered.  We had dinner at Rica rica and th Indo cuisine is spectacular. A little expensive in my opinion. We ordered one starter and one main and that set us back sgd45.  Forget the Rimbun. Lovely setting but the food… ribeye was sgd64 but it was thin like those in our hawker centre with no taste.  Spa was amazing. We took the couple’s package and it was lovely.  We enjoyed the Floating fizz in our own private pool.  On the whole, 8/10. We will be back and hopefully the standard of food will be better."

"Staying in Cassia Bintan was the perfect sanctuary I needed to recharge and getaway from the busy city life. This 'me-time' was exactly what I needed to find my peace again. The hospitality started the moment I arrived—I was greeted by Arya at the counter, who was incredibly helpful and kind. His warm welcome immediately put me at ease as a solo traveller. I truly appreciated the shuttle bus provided by Cassia from the ferry terminal; it felt very safe and organized, which is so important for solo female travellers. The room itself was a dream. I loved the blue colour of the room. This soothing blue wall creates a calm space where I can truly relax. It's spacious and clean. My favourite spot was the well-equipped kitchenette and the nice private balcony; the air felt so clean and fresh, and it was such a serene place for me to sit and do my painting. I love the sea so much, and the serene beach was so therapeutic. The pristine white sand and the shimmering turquoise blue sea were breathtaking. Being able to stroll along the shore every single day while listening to the gentle sea waves was the perfect way to clear my mind. I also loved spending time at Vista—sipping on their refreshing lime juice while soaking in the stunning sea view was pure bliss. The food at Lotus Cafe was delicious, and the staff always greeted me with a warm smile. Having the market 23 nearby was also so convenient for snacks and essentials. "Beautiful glamping site. Service was top notch - you can WhatsApp for room service, water etc and the staff was always responsive and professional. The only small minus was that you can totally hear your neighbours even if they’re not particularly loud. Light sleepers won’t like it. But I think it was fair because it’s a ‘camp’site after all. No TV haha which I guess is good for truly getting away. Facilities like the huge lagoon were beautiful and not too crowded."

GGuest UserWe recently returned from a five-night holiday in Bintan and stayed at your hotel for the last three nights (nights 3, 4, and 5). While we were happy to secure a room for those dates, we encountered two issues during our stay that we feel should be brought to your attention— in the hope that they can be improved for future guests. 1. Room Consistency & Communication Due to high demand, the same room type we booked for nights 3 and 4 was no longer available for night 5. As a result, we had to book a different room type for the final night, all paid in advance. When we checked in, we explained to the front desk staff that we would prefer to stay in the same room for all three nights, and we were willing to pay any price difference if necessary. The staff member said they would check and get back to us—but we never heard anything further. Admittedly, we also forgot to follow up. However, we assumed that no news meant we could remain in the same room. The next day at noon, we received a sudden call requesting us to check out immediately, which completely disrupted our day’s plans and led to a rushed and stressful move. We even left some personal items behind in the process. In the future, we would greatly appreciate clearer follow-up from hotel staff—whether or not a room change is possible, please confirm with guests either way rather than leaving the matter unresolved. 2. Villa Room Maintenance On the last night, we moved to a villa. Unfortunately, during our shower we discovered that the drainage system was severely clogged. Water from the shower area didn’t drain properly, and water even backed up from under the sink and around the toilet. This was not only inconvenient, but honestly quite unpleasant. While your staff did eventually help us resolve the issue, it significantly affected our overall experience and left a negative final impression. We chose your hotel with high expectations and understand that busy periods can lead to service challenges. But with a bit more proactive communication and better room maintenance, we believe the guest experience can be much improved. Thank you for taking the time to read our feedback.

GGuest UserThe hotel exceeded our expectations. It is located away from the hustle and bustle, offering a very serene and peaceful environment. The staff were warm and hospitable, and the food was surprisingly delicious—our favourite was the fun platter. We also enjoyed the BBQ dinner and the complimentary kayaking activity. One area for improvement would be mosquito control. It may be helpful to increase the frequency of pest control services, as we experienced quite a severe mosquito issue and received more than twenty bites during just one dinner.

Although there was a minor hiccup during check-in (the air conditioning was broken), the maintenance staff tried their best to fix it, and housekeeping called several times to check if the AC was working properly. I was very satisfied with how this was handled. The only downside is that there's only one restaurant. Personally, I think the restaurant's view is unbeatable, and the food quality is above average. However, the dinner buffet wasn't particularly good; ordering à la carte would have been better. Also, the cleanliness of the cups in the room needs improvement, and there was quite a bit of dust in the bathtub on the balcony.

JJason2023Absolutely incredible hotel experience! Stunning room with balcony overlooking the Singapore Strait. Several activities you can do, from eco golf to fishing and a movie night projected on to the side of the ship. The tour was excellent and all of the staff were great. I hired a motorbike through reception so I could explore the island - all organised very well, although 3x more expensive than say Thailand, Vietnam etc. The restaurant has a limited menu unless you are happy with local, mainly seafood dishes with a couple of western options and pizza. The drinks are expensive already, then they add 21% service and tax, again, significantly higher than what you would pay in similar SE Asian countries but I heard typical for Bintan. Buy your drinks from the convenience store in the ferry terminal - 4x cheaper than the hotel bar restaurant. They did say however that their profits are given to charity. Overall, I had an incredible stay here, excellent value, excellent location if you want to chill or explore the island (not suitable for walking) or just relaxing by the beautiful infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Highly recommended, will 100% return and no need to look at any other hotel on Bintan!

GGoh Zhe LiangWonderful place for family with kids. The front desk will send whatsapp of their activity brochures, both paying and complimentary activities where you can make reservations. Guests have 20% discount as the treasure Bay is also open to outside. You can also call the buggy to pick up from your tent and you can approach the concierge to arrange for activities outside the resort, like booking taxi to shopping mall or the mangrove restaurant which the food was wonderful! You can also book for a private bbq session at your tent from the resort restaurant but best to book a day before.

SShiju JohnAmazing place to stay if you need to just relax and recharge in the calm. Just idle time sitting in the patio of your sea view villa and enjoy looking at the sea or walking by the beach collecting sea shells and finding baby mud crabs inside of the sea shells. It was not our first time staying at Mayang Sari or one of the other Nirwana properties. Hence, the smiling staff with their impeccable service levels is never a surprise but always a pleasure. Mayang Sari has its own restaurant, the Deli Cafe, where you can get local and western delicacies and drinks. The property has an Indian restaurant, Spice, which is a 5 minute walk from Mayang Sari, and Nirwana also has its own restaurant. They have a pick and drop shuttle from the ferry terminal, which makes it very convenient. Just a call put that this is Lagoi, so please don't expect to have malls around, and the city centre falls in the Tanjung Pinang area.

AAlwyn YongWe wanted to have a more private and laidback stay over Christmas, and Pantai Indah Lagoi delivered this! After immigration, we were brought to a waiting area for a private car transfer to the villa. Check in was smooth and the housekeeper did a detailed explanation of our room amenities for us. They have a dedicated WhatsApp line for any requests such as housekeeping or buggy. Everything was clean inside and thankfully we did not have any bugs this time, which made it even more pleasant. The private pool was also pleasant and clean for a cooling swim, and we thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful vibe of the villa. Thankful for the great service and definitely worth visiting in a group next time!

RRAAAYlovely place to getaway and just unwind in your own private space! complimentary pick-up/drop-off from BBT ferry terminal is provided so do drop them a whatsapp message to have it arranged. place is walking distance to Plaza Lagoi which has some food spots, a gelato place, mini mart, and a nice li’l souvenir spot called Cinderamata. picked up a few things there. there’s also an atm (BNI) to withdraw cash without incurring atm fee. also walking distance to the beach. breakfast is also provided daily. bear in mind that if you have rowdy inconsiderate neighbours who makes noise throughout the night, it spoils the experience cause you can’t sleep. encountering insects/wildlife is expected but nothing to be majorly afraid of. overall enjoyed my time there and would return again.

GGuest UserThe room was perfect, and the service was exceptionally good, with complimentary snacks, disposable shower caps, toothbrushes and toothpaste, slippers, and combs, as well as shower gel and shampoo. Although there was an unexpected issue, the staff actively resolved it. It’s a very nice hotel. The breakfast was also delicious. I recommend everyone bring some stomach medicine when they visit; even though I was very careful, I still got an upset stomach. I suggest opting for the hotel's airport transfer service, it’s great value for money.

IIrvin Jonah CheungIf you are not fussy about a ”right slap in the city” hotel, then this is a perfect hotel for you and your family! The hotel is within walking distance to Melayu Square, Tugu Pencil, Gong-gong building, Jalan Hang Tuah, the newly built coastal bridge, and the main ferry port. The neighborhood is also very friendly and littered with many little local eateries and grocery shops that are not expensive! Even if you want a very good Chinese seafood restaurant, Sei Enam is only a stone throw away! The hotel rooms are very basic and simple and the hotel is not equipped with a elevator, so if you are staying on the 4th floor, you'll have to walk up! Inside the rooms are simple appliances like TV, cable, telephone, drinking cups, bottled water, slippers, cupboards, drawers, hot and cold water showers, toothbrush with toothpaste, shampoo, small bar soaps, aircon, firm pillows, and even a nice bolster for you to hug to sleep! There are unfortunately no water billers nor coffee and tea condiments in the room. Hot and cold drinking water are on level 1 dinning area. The hotel package that I took came with a simple breakfast. The dishes are local and spicy and they are often sprinkled with peanuts. Breakfast come in wrapped up (takeaway) packages with all the pratas sauces, and/or rice in paper and plastic wrappings. Cutleries and plates are available for use. Free flow of coffee and tea with sugar (no milk nor creamer). For the price of about S$26/day, I thought that it was such a wonderful stay in this hotel! Even though it is without much amenities (because I'd rather go take my walks around town and go get a boat ride), I highly recommend this 2 star hotel for a simple and affordable stay in Tanjung Pinang!
