"Visiting Achi Village, I compared several nearby hot spring ryokans and decided to try this one for its reasonable price, offering a one-night stay with two meals. Upon entering, there's a beautiful garden, and indoors, shoes must be removed. The interior space is ample, and with not many guests, the service was very satisfying. The room size was surprisingly large, and the lobby offered complimentary all-you-can-drink beverages, including alcohol, plus an outdoor foot bath. The restaurant food quality was acceptable, and overall, I was pleased with my stay."

There's a Kannon Bodhisattva in the open-air bath. Sitting in the bath at night, I admired the full moon. Although the sky was filled with stars, it was too bright. I could only vaguely see some. At night, I strolled along the banks of the Achi River, listening to the rushing water and gazing at the dim yellow lights of the inns. At the foot of the mountain, I could see the Big Dipper with the moon behind me. It's a little inconvenient to get to from Tokyo, but the crowds are less and the experience is better.
