Ishigaki Hotels with Wifi

"The experience was quite disappointing. The hotel receptionists were not helpful and friendly when we ask questions face to face and through phone call. The toilet is quite small. Surprisingly there is no room cleaning service if you stay less than 3 nights, not even clearing your trash bins. During our stay, we heard repeated announcements late in the night and they were all in Japanese. Only when we translated them by our phone we realised it was about the fire alarm. A lot of other hotel residents gathered in the lobby waiting for further instructions. We saw a staff sitting in the office but until the end of the day no one give any information nor explain anything. We ended up going back to our room after our own assessment."

"The owner of Ohana guesthouse is amazing! The kindest and most hospitable man i have met. Even though his english is not all that good he really listens with interest and tries to connect. He cooks every night and you're invited to join for a very low price. When we ate together (Hotpot) and everyone was speaking japanese he kept trying to include me in the conversation. When i left after two days he even waved goodbye from the stairs till i turned the corner. The cabins were spacious and had a little fan and a mirror with a ledge inside, which is super nice! The toilets and showers were clean and nice and the little wash area was super cute and had everything you could want. the kitchen has everything you need to cook for yourself but for 200/400/800¥ you can join dinner so i didnt cook. Hands down the coziest guesthouse i have been, massive reccomendations!"

"My stay was from late February to early March, and I was in room 5503. The first thing I noticed, and it's a major plus, is the fantastic location. It's incredibly convenient for island hopping, being right next to the Ishigaki Port Remote Island Terminal. The bus terminal is also within walking distance, making airport access and getting around the city a breeze. Even as a first-timer to Ishigaki, I felt very comfortable getting around. Breakfast was served from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM at ”Toreador” on the first floor, a Japanese and Western-style buffet. I used it and was pleased to find a good selection of Okinawan dishes, like Goya Champuru and Okinawa Soba, really adding to the vacation feel. It was great that it opened early, allowing plenty of time to eat even before heading out to the islands. The breakfast ticket system was well-managed, and the instructions at check-in were clear, so there was no confusion. My room was generally clean and had a calm atmosphere. While the facilities weren't brand new, they were well-maintained and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, and I was able to get a good rest after tiring days of sightseeing. Being on a higher floor was also a plus, as I wasn't bothered much by outside noise and enjoyed a peaceful stay. The staff were very polite and helpful, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. Their explanations for sightseeing and hotel facilities were easy to understand, which was reassuring. I feel that this kind of attentive service significantly enhances the overall satisfaction of the stay. Overall, the hotel offers an excellent balance of location, convenience, price, and service. I'd particularly recommend it to anyone planning to visit the outlying islands. Even including the actual breakfast and use of the public bath, my satisfaction was high. It's a reliable base for an Ishigaki Island stay. I would definitely want to stay here again on my next visit to Ishigaki."

"The hotel has a sea view across the street, and I found it fascinating how the pool seemed to be connected to the ocean. Dinner included a barbecue and a formal course meal. Since the barbecue was fully booked, I opted for the course meal, which was fantastic! Breakfast was also delicious, and the surrounding area was well-maintained, making it a great place to take pictures. I wanted to see the stars at night, but it was a bit cloudy, so I couldn't really see them. There was also a stargazing tour available at the hotel. There was a small souvenir shop within the hotel, which I browsed and found a variety of souvenirs to buy. I'd love to visit this hotel again!"

"Facility was very nice - especially with the fridge and washing machine, which makes it very convenient for travellers on extended trips. Breakfast, as the name suggests, is a very strong point of the hotel with fresh sashimi and a lot of local delicacies available. Although on busier days the restaurant might seem a bit small, but overall it's managable. Even for those plans without breakfast they would provide you with a smoothie everyday as well so that's a good point. Also enjoyed the free drinks available, especially on the alcoholic drinks provided in the condonium. Distance-wise it was within walking distance to the city centre and very close to the airport bus stop."

"ゲストハウスとして値段に対するクオリティは期待値以上でした。事前に希望していたことも調整していただき大変助かりました。 寝室は男女分かれており、シャワーや洗面台、トイレは共用です。洗濯機、乾燥機も用意がありました。 海外からのお客様が多い印象を受け、交流されている様子も拝見しました。 目的があり泊まるだけというなら何も困らず快適に過ごせると思います！ 唯一気になったのはシーツが破れているところがあったことくらいです。"

"Location: A bit remote, so driving is recommended. Be aware that most restaurants nearby close before 6 PM, but there are still one or two good options within a 4-minute drive. It's right next to a beautiful beach, and you can book snorkeling/diving excursions there. Service and Environment: The staff were excellent and very friendly. We booked the Villa with Garden View - Non-Smoking, and the room had a lovely woody scent upon entry. However, be careful ⚠️ of insects. The environment is quiet and secluded, with only minor signs of wear and tear. Dining Service: We chose the package that included breakfast, but don't set your expectations too high for it. Overall, I would still recommend it."

"The hotel is in good location and very accessible to city area. The staffs are friendly and it is to great pleasure with the tour centre inside inside the hotel which you can easily book a lot of outdoor activities without worrying all the transportation arrangements. The availability with massage shops, souvenir shop, spa and sauna, swimming pool, bar and restaurants are very comprehensive and you can just enjoyed all kinds of amenities by staying in this one single hotel. There are some restaurants nearby the hotel as well which also serve as a very good alternative for dining options."

"The breakfast offered a wide variety of good quality options, and even on weekdays, the hotel had a high occupancy rate. The staff were very friendly; I was particularly touched when the gentleman responsible for cleaning in the morning bowed to me in a traditional Japanese greeting. We booked sea view rooms through Trip.com, and my friend and I each made separate bookings. It turned out the room types were slightly different, with one being much closer to the sea, which led to a bit of a disagreement with the front desk. Luckily, we speak Japanese, and the hotel eventually made a compromise, for which I'm grateful! I hope Trip.com can be more accurate when describing room types during the booking process to avoid such unnecessary hassle. The hotel is right by the sea, and the water is clear, but it's a shame there's no sandy beach, which was a bit disappointing. The rooms are also on the smaller side."

"The only drawback was that it was a little far from the town center (I bought too many souvenirs on the outlying island), so I considered taking a taxi, but decided it wasn't worth it! I walked instead. But the bath afterwards felt wonderful. The breakfast, considering it was free, was excellent in both quantity and quality. I will definitely stay here again."
