While the breakfast spread isn't huge, it's absolutely delicious. The service was also very warm and welcoming."

"The location is perfectly located in front of Ofuna station (east wing exit). There are 3 tax free shop around for daily necessity. The hotel also provide bath salt, night mask, hair treatment cream, sunscreen, and other bath amenities. It is really nice!
The room as usual in Japan is small but it is very cozy. I truly enjoy my stay."

"This was the most pleasant stay in Kamakura we had! Glad to have an opportunity to write a review. I went to Japan in beginning of November with my younger brother, the weather was warm. We were intended to stay in Kamakura for 2 days (1 day in beginning and 1 day in the end of our trip). A hotel near both to Enoshima and Kotoku-in. The service was incredible. The room was neat and tidy with AC, TV, balcony and matcha tea set, also we could see a sea from the balcony. Hotel has spacious bathroom with mini onsen. The hostess of the hotel was very polite to us. One time we were late to check in, so we called from reception, and she began to apologize politely and walked down from the top floor to give us the keys to our room. We felt a bit awkward)
Then she gave us 2 towels for free, when they cost 200 yen, it was nice bonus. Btw every time we checked out, a hostess was giving to us postcards =) We had lots of positive emotions. So, I highly recommend this place to stay in Kamakura."

"The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
The public bath was large and relaxing.
There is no convenience store nearby - you need to walk towards the station to visit the closest (Family Mart) which takes about 5mins one way.
There were 2 things that bothered me:
1. Position of TV. You can’t be on the bed to watch as you cannot turn the TV towards the bed.
2. There were 2 chairs and a table and the height of the table and the part you sit on the chair was same. Therefore I had to bend so much to reach down to eat which was quite frustrating"

"Love how convenient the hotel located. We brought our toddler travel to Kamakura using the Shonan Monorail and changed to Enoden Line to have different train ride experience. And return from Kamakura to Ofuna station is just 2 stops by JR. The train station itself have Lumine EST department store and within walking distance with lots of drug stores, DONKI, and eateries. Highly recommended.
2 adults with 1 2 year old toddler. Unexpectedly their bed is big for us yet it is a pullover bed can be extended."

"The hotel's location is fantastic, just a 3-minute walk from Kamakura Station. The breakfast is a set meal, and while the variety is a bit limited, the tomato soup is absolutely delicious! The overall decor has a green, nature-inspired theme, which unfortunately means it attracts insects easily. The biggest issue in the room is a step right at the entrance, which is a tripping hazard. There are no other tea bags, coffee, or water provided in the room. Its main advantage is definitely the location – it's a 5-minute walk to Komachi-dori, and it's great for a morning stroll around the neighborhood."

"The hotel is conveniently located just one stop above Kamakura Station, making it easy to find. The room was even better than the photos, quiet, and the service was excellent and patient. It was convenient to leave luggage at the hotel after check-out, allowing for easy travel. Getting up early allowed me to catch the sunrise and see Mount Fuji with excellent visibility. Kamakura High School was practically empty before 9 am, but there were long queues on the way back. Staying here for one night is incredibly good value! However, I recommend exploring the city for a while before staying here, as most shops close around 6 pm."

First, the location is incredibly convenient. It's just a 5-minute walk, at most, from the main train station.
Second, there are so many shops and restaurants nearby. We're talking convenience stores, fast food like Yoshinoya, and even two large supermarkets that have everything you could possibly need!
Finally, the front desk service is exceptional. They have a self-service translation device that displays the conversation on a screen, which is fantastic!
Plus, it's not far from the Daifune Kannon Temple. And get this, it's only a 50-minute direct train ride to Tokyo, and the price is absolutely worth it. Oh, and if you couldn't find a specific item at Uniqlo in Tokyo, you might just find it at the Uniqlo next to Daifune Station – it's amazing. What's more, it's very convenient to get to Gotemba Premium Outlets, Hakone Shrine, Izu, and Atami.
Facilities: Excellent and fully equipped. The room size is normal for a Sotetsu hotel.
Cleanliness: Spotless and tidy.
Environment: Super convenient surroundings.
Service: They have a self-service translation machine, so there are no communication barriers whatsoever.

GGuest UserI really like the location that Yuigahama is close. It's just the right size to spend alone, and the amenities are fashionable and substantial. It's nice to be able to drink coffee on the water server. Unfortunately, the bathtub and the washroom are not separate, and when I come to such a place, I still want to relax in the bath, and it is very very disappointing that the bathtub cannot be filled with hot water. I wish I had a public bath nearby. After that, towels and bed sheets were a little damp. As with us, when drying with a drum dryer, it seems to have been dry at that time, but it is not dry enough, and I think it is better to extend the drying time a little more.

Self-check-in and check-out, a few minutes walk from Jiangzhi Electric Yaoyue Station and Jiangzhidao Station. It is recommended to get off at Jiangzhi Island. There are many foods around and there are two large supermarkets. There is a temple nearby, and the tram at the entrance of the temple is very popular. If you don't receive the room door password, you can call the landlord at the door. The landlord's attitude is very nice. Recommended stay.

The house is an early local residential house, a two-story wooden house with three rooms above and below, all managed by this samurai buddy. When checking in, a girl came to help introduce the room and precautions. After 9 pm, everyone got off work, leaving only the guests. Last night, there were two young people living downstairs, and the other room was empty. The two young people went out after storing their luggage at 9 o'clock in the morning, and did not come back until after 9 o'clock in the evening when the lights were turned off. They almost couldn't get in. In fact, the door was not locked, but the sliding was stuck. It was cold these two days, and because the sliding windows of the Japanese-style room were not tight, there was air leakage everywhere, and even the two young people downstairs couldn't stand it. I looked at the bathroom shower room and didn't go in again, and I didn't take a shower that night. Of course, it was also related to the cold weather. Breakfast was also very simple. This buddy came over at 8:30 with a backpack and processed it here. Before 9 o'clock in the evening, the people downstairs were very noisy. I was a little sleepy and went to bed early. This guy was dressed like a samurai. His ancestors must have had samurai traditions. He was also good at communication and introduced some samurai customs. I felt that the guy was pretty good and worked hard. I wanted to praise him. Because I saw that he seemed to sell wine here, all of which were opened, and also opened meals. There might also be tour guides, so I had to pay the bill at the end. GGuest UserThe location is fantastic – definitely the biggest highlight of this place. The building itself is a charming wooden structure. The room was adequate, a bit small, but perfectly fine as we only needed it for sleeping. The shared bathroom was clean. Slippers were not provided, and there was an extra charge for towels or luggage storage.
On the day we checked out, a very strange thing happened: a completely naked man was sleeping on the sofa in the common area. I'm not sure if he was a guest. He remained there, sleeping, for a few hours. Perhaps the property needs better supervision?

JJacaranda13I learned the charm of the guesthouse. It seemed like many people came here to rest for a while, and I really liked the guesthouse's unique culture that welcomed even first-time visitors. Since it's an old building, the windows shake when cars pass by and the wooden stairs creak, but I think that's its own charm. The shower facilities are also well-equipped! There aren't any large lockers, but I felt safe because I could leave my valuables in a place where I could use the key. I really liked the atmosphere of meeting and interacting with various people. It's a short walk from Hase Station, so it's easy to access, and if you walk a little further, there's a beach. The price is reasonable, so I think I'll come back again next time I visit Kamakura.
