It's great hostel for solo traveler. Reception is kind, and there are large place in 3rd floor to cook and eat. Shower and toilet is clean, and there are big locker for bags.

We really loved the hotel; it felt like we were visiting relatives in the countryside. The hotel is a historic building, with a courtyard decorated with garlands and tables. Floor-to-ceiling windows allow you to enjoy breakfast and lunch while looking out over this beautiful setting. Most importantly, almost everything in the hotel is genuine vintage, not refurbished or ”antique.” So if comfort and state-of-the-art plumbing are your top priorities, you'll want to stay somewhere else, a comfortable but impersonal hotel. We really liked the room's interior, and the hotel has very high ceilings, so you don't feel like you're in a small cage. The bed linen was fresh and clean—white stripe satin—and the room overall was so clean that I felt like I could walk barefoot on the wooden floors, which is something I rarely do. Yes, the hotel is very noisy, but it didn't bother us, perhaps because we were lucky with our neighbors. The hotel staff deserves special thanks: they checked us in much earlier, allowing us to rest after the journey, and they were very responsive to all our requests and questions. If we ever return to Irkutsk, we'll most likely return here again.

The hygiene was exceptionally good. The only issue was the bar downstairs, which sometimes affected my sleep. However, the Buryat guy and Russian lady working at the downstairs bar provided excellent and enthusiastic service.

We really liked staying at the AsiaEurope Hotel 👍🙌we didn't even think there were such hotels in Irkutsk. Here everything is done with design, in modern style 👍 everything is thought to small things. Near the airport. The TV didn't work, but we didn't need it, the main thing in the way of rest 👍

The room was clean and drinking water was given every day. The front desk can speak English and can store luggage. The restaurant has a rich breakfast. The hotel is in a good location. Going right is a 24-hour supermarket, turning left is Lenin Street, walking to multiple attractions.

I initially booked for two days to check out the facilities, and then extended my stay for a few more. The room was a bit small. Since the central AC was off, and it was a bit cold during my stay, the front desk proactively offered extra blankets and a portable electric heater, which was a lifesaver for the rest of my trip. The service was good, and responses were quite quick. The facilities are just average, but it's very clean. They also actively assist with visa-on-arrival applications.

The location is very good, outside is the most prosperous 130 style street in the city, there are a lot of food, there is a double bed in the room, there is a double bed in the attic above, can live 4 people.

Traveling solo from China to Siberia, my short two-to-three-day stay with the hosts in Irkutsk was the warmest, most unexpected highlight of my entire trip. The host couple and their friends were incredibly genuine and friendly. Despite the language barrier, we communicated patiently using translation software, and there was absolutely no sense of distance. The accommodation was clean and warm, fully equipped with kitchenware and toiletries, offering an immersive experience of local daily life. The hosts proactively shared sightseeing routes for Lake Baikal, explained Siberian customs, and even gave me local specialty gifts. Their family warmly invited me to eat and chat with them, allowing me to genuinely experience the gentle warmth of ordinary Russian people. As my departure approached, I was very reluctant to leave. This homestay experience bypassed the typical tourist routines and allowed me to forge pure and sincere cross-cultural friendships. I highly recommend this local guesthouse to solo travelers; the value for money and overall experience far exceed that of a hotel.
