"A great hotel offering excellent value for money. I initially booked for just one night, but after seeing how nice and clean the room was, I immediately decided to extend my stay for another. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and provided excellent service. It's conveniently located just over a kilometer from both the Starlight Night Market and the bus station for Bangkok-bound buses from Rayong, which is about a 20-minute walk away."

"- The hotel's location is awesome, right next to Central Rayong shopping mall, just a few steps away. This place is part of the Hilton chain, in their affordable format. They don't do luggage handling, which is fine. - This hotel is super new and clean, totally decked out, and the bathroom is huge. The hairdryer is new, and the TV is modern. Plus, they've got stuff for wheelchairs and an SOS button in the room if you need help. - The staff welcomed us and served us well. The dining room is medium-sized, with in-door and out-door areas, and the food tastes good. - The space in front of each room is pretty proportional, which is great for privacy, but the soundproofing between rooms might not be the best. We can hear doors closing or stuff banging through the ceiling and walls. - If you're staying during the festival, there might be noisy events with loud music in the mall's forecourt, usually from 7 PM to midnight. Maybe probably ask the hotel about it after booking your room. We were pretty stoked with this place. If we can, we'll totally come back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"I had a great stay at this hotel! It's a large and very clean property with 8 floors. One of the best things about it is the location — even though it's not right by the beach, it's right in the heart of the city, which makes getting around super easy. Just a short walk from the hotel, you'll find a night market, a fresh market, and even a 7-Eleven, so it's really convenient for food and essentials. If I visit Rayong again, I’ll definitely stay at this hotel once more. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located place to stay!"

"Tamarind Farden Hotel at Rayong that we have stayed for 4 days, have given us an extraordinary great experience and pleasant impression ! It's not a mainstream hotel but its staff were courteous. The hotel area is very clean and wide. The size of our room was big, really spacious and clean. Our compliments to the cleaning staff there. The car parking area is really huge and convenient to access the hotel main area. The dining area is quite spacious, and the staff was extremely attentive. I will help to c choose foods that are not readily provided on the table. They are aimed to serve you. Foods are changed every day ! They are delicious, although not of huge selections, but are suffice ! I do recommend future travellers visiting Rayong to stay there for their next visit to Rayong. We will be back there !"

"The facilities are ok but when I was there, the building just finished building and some facilities are still on process. The food is great but the location isn't convenient, I had to walk 2 buildings away from where I stayed to have a breakfast. Not much of a service but the room is clean, so is the toilet (Big toilet, that's a plus)"

The accommodations are well-distributed across a large area, featuring numerous individual bungalows that truly capture an island resort vibe. While the rooms aren't overly spacious, they are very clean, and housekeeping is prompt. Breakfast is extensive and delicious. In the evenings, à la carte BBQ is available, and the beach hosts performances like 'Da Tie Hua' (molten iron fireworks).

Enjoyed live music & a fire show in the evening. We gave 200 THB to the fire show men. Frankly speaking, their fire show skills are much better than Hawaii. (Except, no hip dance) It would be nice if the other hotel guests would have given them some tips, too. Everything was good, except the music at the restaurant by the beach was a bit too loud. I will return to stay at this hotel again if I go to Samed next time.

The rooms were fairly basic, not the most comfortable of beds and did not get cleaned during our 3 night stay. Water was provided and towels replaced once, left outside for us to collect. The restaurant was fairly reasonable, music at night. Unfortunately the rooms were very noisy, you could hear the neighbours during the night and lizards on the roof. The location is a lovely beach, not too far to walk on the beaches to tubtim, but a bit too far to walk to the main town.

GGuest UserMixed impressions) For families with children, the pool was a great help: two depths, for babies and a maximum of 110 cm. We vacationed with my 9-year-old daughter in June 2025. There were waves in the bay, so we often swam in the pool. For breakfast: buffet (watermelon, melon, tea, coffee, juices, cornflakes, milk, green lettuce, cherry tomatoes, white rice, rice with vegetables, with chicken, sausages, fried eggs, white toast, jam, butter, etc.) We got a room in which the water in the shower and sink did not drain, not comfortable at all. But we lasted two nights) as in other houses - I don't know) Overall, good. We rented a motorbike and traveled around the island: we were on other beaches and at View points. At the very end of the island, there are gorgeous views!

COULD NOT GET TWO KEY CARDS FOR THE ROOM, RECEPTIONIST REFUSED THE REQUEST FOR SECOND 20 cent PLASTIC KEY!?!?!? NOT NORMAL SERVICE AND NOT PRACTICAL FOR TWO PEOPLE!!! ALSO THE BUILDING HAS NO ELEVATOR!!! Had to climb to third floor with luggages as bell boy was somewhere....also the actual room is in two levels i.e.: entrance and toilet downstairs, bedroom and living room upstairs. Outside balcony shower and bath tub had no privacy as shower is visible to the courtyard. Stayed 4 nights and 2 days water and electricity interruptions. Beach bar Happy Hour doesnt work traditional way: Ordered Kamikaze and Strawberry Margarita and tacos. Drank the first Buy 1 get 1 Free and ate the tacos. Waited for the second drinks for a while but then waitress brings us bill without asking it. Happy Hour had ended and we didnt get our second drinks but got invoiced for only one THB350 cocktail and tacos, so be aware of the Grand View Happy Hour practices and dont miss the ordering window like we did. 🤭 Daily issues with the restaurant card machine, cant pay with a CC. Clean and modern room, but poor service and not practical room with two levels and stairs.

Location & Beach Access The resort's prime beachfront location is undoubtedly its strongest asset. Situated directly by a beautiful stretch of shallow, crystal-blue waters, it offers safe and perfect conditions for family sea bathing. The convenience factor is excellent – you're just a two-minute walk from the famous Sai Kaew Beach, the iconic Mermaid Monument, and the bustling Silversand Resort area. Accommodation & Ambience While the resort building itself shows its age, the refurbished rooms create a lovely ambience with beautiful lighting that transforms the older structure into something quite charming. We stayed on the third floor, which offered peaceful mountain views overlooking the national park forest rather than beach views. The setting is genuinely calm and quiet – exactly what we wanted for a family retreat. Important consideration: There's no elevator, so reaching upper floors requires quite a climb. As we joked, shuttling between the room and outside areas four times daily provides a workout in itself! This makes the resort unsuitable for elderly guests or anyone with mobility issues. Dining Experience The breakfast experience is delightful, served in a beachside restaurant where you can enjoy your meal with sand between your toes. The selection impresses with a good range of both Western and Thai options, including fresh fruits. The resort's beach restaurant serves quality food with excellent value for money – we tried multiple dishes and enjoyed them all. However, there's no room service, and the restaurant closes early (around 9:30-10 PM). When late-night cravings struck, we found the nearby 7-Eleven (just 5-6 minutes' walk) convenient for snacks. Room Amenities & Issues Room amenities are adequate though not luxurious. The shower area is well-designed with a spacious dressing area. However, we encountered an unpleasant odor from the bathroom drainage system that required some management during our stay. Activities & Surroundings For water activities like parasailing, snorkeling, and jet skiing, you'll need to walk to Sai Kaew Beach to find service providers – fortunately, we found excellent options there. Final Verdict Avatara Resort succeeds as a family-friendly destination that balances beachfront access, peaceful ambience, and reasonable pricing. While it has some limitations (no elevator, early restaurant closure, minor maintenance issues), the overall experience was enjoyable and memorable. Recommended for: Families seeking a calm beach getaway who don't mind some stairs and prefer a quieter resort atmosphere. GGuest UserThe location is really far off. In the last corner of the island. If you don’t have a motorcycle you don’t get around well. There is a shuttle bus which costs around 120 to get to the main area one way for two, but it isn’t that reliable. It is supposed to leave once per hour at 30min after the full hour but sometimes it leaves 5min early and you are stranded for the hour, sometimes you wait until 45min after the hour. The friendlieness of the staff was from super genuinely friendly and helpful to „ I don’t give the slightest **** for you“ really depends on the person. Breakfast was good, especially the thai soups. Eating dinner there is very expensive and not that good. The restaurant location outside is spectacular. With view over the sea in many directions. The huts where you stay are simply too small. I. Essence only a bed that you can walk around. No desk or something. No shelves or something where you could store or hang clothes. You have to live out of the luggage your suitcase. The issue is : there is only space to have one opened at the time, no space for two. That makes it rather inconvenient. The water in the romm is in glass bottles , but it is actually tab water smells like chlorine. I gor stomach pain drinking only one. We were told if we need drinking water , we must use the overpriced water from the minibar. The beach wasn’t that great. You don’t walk on sand and there was lots of rubble in the water, not pleasant to swim. I would not go there again

CcrazyfxGuys! If you're expecting three stars, breakfast in bed, or anything else that might be missing, don't hold your breath! In 3 minutes on foot, you'll find a heavenly sea, kinetic sand, eternal summer – simply everything you need for happiness. The rooms are a bit run down; we only had two outlets in the whole room. They change the bedding and bring plenty of bottled water. However, they didn't even empty the ashtray for four days, even though there was cleaning. For three out of four days, they couldn't fix our air conditioner; that's just how Sabai is. They came, looked, and told us to turn it off for an hour. But why come to such heavenly places and worry about the room? It's just for sleeping and the toilet! By the way, the flow-through shower gets boiling hot, and the hot water is excellent. For normal, resilient souls, this is a great option if you're coming for the sea!
