Rayong City Hotels with Parking

The taxi from the pier cost 250 baht. The beach right in front of the hotel is fantastic, and the male attendant who manages the towels was really good – he's the reason I gave the last 100 baht as a tip. His enthusiasm also led us to book a night squid fishing trip for 9 people. However, all the staff here seem to have two different attitudes: one for Western guests and another for Chinese guests. While everyone else managed basic politeness, the female server in the restaurant (pictured in photo 2) was incredibly rude to us. This is my fifth time vacationing in Thailand, and I've also traveled to the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Mauritius, the Maldives, and Hamilton Island, but this is honestly the first time I've encountered a staff member so rude. She pointed her finger at me and loudly demanded that I push the water bottle from the middle of the table to against the wall. I was completely stunned. Upon check-in, they asked for 500 baht per night for an extra bed for our 6-year-old. Since the three of us could comfortably share the king-sized bed, we declined and only paid for the child's breakfast, which was 200 baht per day. One evening, we also encountered teenagers on the beach who were indiscriminately bullying kids playing there. I never even saw something like this in Australia, yet it happened on Koh Samet. Thankfully, my English speaking skills are decent, and after a big argument, he ended up yelling that he was going to call the police. Overall, I still wouldn't recommend booking a hotel here. The pricing attracts a certain type of clientele, and since there are many very cheap hotels nearby, the beach attracts all sorts of tourists.

The hotel is beautiful, we got the beach front pool villa which was everything we wanted. Rooms also have coffee machine which is nice to have before breakfast watching the sun rise. The location is 2km from the main town so if you’re after a relaxed resort style holiday this is it. We saw so many animals around. Breakfast was nice, the Thai food for lunch and dinner was lovely. They have a fire show on Saturday nights which was fabulous. They do have sea urchins so even though the sand is beautiful I would take water shoes for swimming just as precaution. Mosquitos do come out at dusk so pack some spray. It was my mother’s birthday and the hotel set up a birthday sign and some pancakes with chocolate brownie and candles. Over all our stay was excellent and we would stay again.

We stayed from April 15-17 in a family room on the first floor. There were three of us, and I can't imagine how four people could fit in there—the room is tiny. There's one armchair right outside the room, and that area is also very cramped, with people constantly walking by. There's no restaurant, only drinks available. The sun loungers are quickly packed away in the evening. There's a lot of hustle and bustle nearby; if you're looking for relaxation, this isn't the place for you. Honestly, for this price, you can find a much better hotel on this island. The hotel is definitely in need of renovation. The staff, however, were lovely ❤️

Hub de Leaf @ Rayong Located in the Noen Phra area of Rayong, Hub de Leaf @ Rayong offers a modern, boutique‐style stay with a quiet ambiance. The hotel features around 60 air‐conditioned rooms, each equipped with a mini-fridge, flat‐screen TV, free WiFi, and a private balcony.  Guests widely praise the cleanliness of the property and the comfort of the beds. One reviewer notes: “The room is clean with no musty smell. The staff is friendly. It’s worth the money paid.”  Others comment that the service is “very nice, kind, and incredibly helpful.”  That said, a few trade-offs are worth noting: the location is somewhat off the main road and public transport options are limited, meaning it’s more convenient if you have your own vehicle.  The breakfast is considered basic but serviceable.  In summary, Hub de Leaf @ Rayong is a good-value choice for those seeking clean, comfortable accommodation slightly away from the hustle of central Rayong—especially if you’re travelling by car and looking for a quiet base.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Yellow House Rayong. The atmosphere was incredibly calm and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax and recharge. From the moment I arrived, I felt very welcomed and comfortable. The room was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged, with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I especially appreciated the quiet surroundings, which allowed me to fully unwind and enjoy the slower pace. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Their warm hospitality really stood out and added a personal touch to my stay. Overall, it was a very relaxing and memorable experience. I would highly recommend Yellow House Rayong to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway, and I would definitely love to come back again in the future.

We stayed at this hotel in January 2026. We liked the hotel; it's centrally located with markets and Lotus nearby. The hotel has a good gym with a sauna and a hammam, a small pool, and excellent breakfasts. Housekeeping is daily, and slippers, a bathrobe, shampoo, and shower gel are provided. However, there's no toothpaste or toothbrushes, despite it being listed as available. There's a safe in the room, and Wi-Fi works throughout the hotel. There's no free shuttle to the beach, even though it was stated as an amenity on our trip booking. We chose this hotel partly because of that specific feature. Ultimately, you can get to the beach by taxi for about 100 baht, or walk about 5 km. We walked a couple of times through the mangrove forest, but it is quite a distance. Otherwise, we enjoyed the hotel. We thank the hotel staff for their hospitality.

I really enjoyed the hotel because it had nobody overlooking me. It was quiet. I never put the TV on the shower worked fine every time the bed was comfortable and the swimming pool was clean. Don’t like the cold eggs in the morning. That’s the only criticism that I have

The service attitude is very good, the room is clean, the quilt has several layers and is not comfortable enough, the free breakfast is monotonous, the beach is very close, it is very suitable for taking children to play in the water, the water is relatively clear, and there are many restaurants nearby.

Oh Taley Resort is a really great place to stay if you’re looking for calm, quiet, and relaxation. The atmosphere is peaceful, and it’s perfect for escaping noise and stress. The location is very nice, close to the sea, and the overall environment is clean and well maintained. The swimming pool is excellent, and the service around the resort is friendly and professional. Everything is well organized, and you can truly enjoy your time here. The only small thing that could make the experience even better would be adding a coffee machine for guests. Even a simple option selling coffee for 40–50 baht would be very convenient, especially since 7-Eleven is a bit far. This would be a great added value for guests. Overall, everything is great: location, pool, service, and peaceful vibe. I highly recommend Oh Taley Resort and would happily stay here again.

The location is excellent, but it doesn't meet expectations for the price. When we visited in 2023, sun loungers were free, but now they charge 60 baht per person, I believe. The standard rooms are terrible – old, with no shelves or tables, so clothes just end up on the floor. The shower is bad, offering no comfort at all. The noise isolation is awful; every morning from 5:30 AM, a rooster crows non-stop right under the windows. Staff start making a lot of noise and working early in the morning, and then at night, someone was snoring incredibly loudly. For this price, you could definitely find a much more comfortable and convenient place to stay.
