The hotel is very new. Nice, clean and fully equipped with facilities similar to the standard of new hotels in China. The location of the hotel is on Saengchan close to Rayong city and near Laem Charoen Beach. Saeng Chan beach looks better in pictures. It's a hip beach for the younger generation to hang out. The location is good for young locals or foreigners who may travel to Rayong by public transportation. I personally prefer further away from city, a more quiet long beach such as Mae Pim beach or Mae Rum Pueng beach.

Overall, I'm very satisfied! After arriving by bus, we walked about 600m to the pier reception, then took a slow boat to the hotel's pier. Baan is the closest of the four hotels to the pier (as shown in the last picture), which was a huge relief! It's just a 1-minute walk, saving us the hassle of getting a tuk-tuk. The hotel isn't luxurious, but it's quiet and elegant. I especially loved the tree by the beach. Being close to Christmas, the evenings here left a wonderful impression on me! The room was quite spacious, with an IKEA-esque style. There's an outdoor balcony, perfect for reading in the morning. Outside the room, there's a chocolate drink shop where you can grab a drink to enjoy on the beach. To the north, it's less crowded and beautifully scenic – I really love it here! Breakfast was also quite extensive, with several dishes you could select individually. The staff's attitude was much better than in many places in Bangkok. I'm especially grateful that on my first day, I forgot my DJI drone, and the front desk staff kept it safe for me until I returned. Thank you! Oh, and there's a small restaurant run by an old man to the north that's absolutely delicious! Try the Tom Yum Goong and Mama noodles! The room is spacious, and the air conditioning works really well, much better than the Hilton next door. But the main highlight is the breakfast — it's vastly superior to the Hilton's, and the price is lower too. Plus, there are some great Thai restaurants nearby that are also very affordable.

The hotel is located a little away from the city or any attractions, mainly for business travelers. The room and facilities are good and clean. The breakfast was tasty with variety of choice.

The resort is beautiful and the location is excellent. The rooms are clean, and room service is convenient. The natural environment is lovely; we often saw squirrels running around. However, the room facilities are quite basic. The bathroom didn't have hot water, and the bedside lamp and door lock were broken. The staff were generally friendly, but not particularly enthusiastic. We rarely experienced proactive or smiling service. On the way to our room, no golf cart offered to help with our luggage. When we asked to use a sun lounger at the private beach, the attendant surprisingly said, 'I don't know,' and we never saw any guests using the sun loungers there. We ate twice at Winkks, and the staff at the entrance never greeted us or proactively showed us to a table. When they found out we didn't have a reservation, they immediately said there was no availability, even though there were clearly two unoccupied tables indoors that hadn't been reserved. They only seated us after we explicitly said we could eat inside. The front desk staff on check-out day were quite good, but the overall service compared to other places in Thailand was pretty average. Overall, it's an unremarkable resort. If I return to Koh Samet, I would consider other hotels in the same price range.

Loved our first stay here! Our room was a ”Second Row” Sea View, but the view was still lovely. The room was huge, clean, and very comfortable, though the shower pressure could be stronger. The balcony is massive and great for relaxing. Since the resort gets a nice breeze all day, you can just sit and ”slow life” it for hours. The food is a standout—the Grilled Ribs and Grilled Garlic Fish are must-tries. Everything tasted so fresh. We will definitely be returning!

After booking, I wrote them over Trip.com, but never got an answer. When we went there personally to ask the day before check-in, the front-desk lady ripped my phone out of my hand without asking, to “check the booking”. We checked in into a room on the first floor, which was in front of a shallow pool. Room was spacious, with the bathroom divided in three sections. In the toilet section, the window can’t be opened, and there is no ventilator. There is a safety box, a beach bag, two umbrellas, a fridge, a kettle, and even a Nespresso machine. However, even though there are two cups and two glasses, there is only one capsule of Americano and one capsule of Espresso, and you have to buy the water, rather expensively, at the bar. There is no laundry rack on the porch or balcony. Bedsheets were spotless, but the bed was wet, hence we woke the next morning feeling like we’d slept on the beach. There are no bedside lights. In the next room, the huge TV was dangerously dangling off its 360° stand, and the balcony was dirty, with only the bathtub being spotless. They have few employees and many managers, with the employees doing what they can for many hours a day. Breakfast options are very limited for people with a plant-based diet. Beach towels are not always available at the pool area. However, the white-sand beach is easily accessible, and there are many butterflies and birds around the property. It is very romantic and nature-bound.

This hotel is magnificent. The service is top-notch, and the staff are incredibly friendly. In the mornings, the beach is unbelievably quiet – no outside noise, just the sound of the sea and birdsong. Breakfast with a sea view is a special treat. The breakfasts are good and varied; you definitely won't leave hungry. The sunsets here are stunning, simply breathtaking. The rooms are very spacious and cozy, with everything you need; there's nothing to complain about. A huge and pleasant bonus is the transfer to and from the hotel. Contact the hotel in advance, and they will pick you up from the pier at the appointed time and take you to the hotel, and the same for your return. They'll carry your bags, escort you, help you into the boat, and upon arrival at the pier, special vehicles will take you to an air-conditioned room where they'll arrange a taxi to your next hotel. 👌

I had a wonderful stay at this beachside hotel. The location is unbeatable—just steps away from a private beach where you can relax without the crowds. Waking up to the sound of waves and enjoying sunsets right from the balcony was a highlight. Another bonus is the nearby national park, easily accessible on foot, perfect for morning hikes and nature walks. The staff were friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The only downside was the entrance area, which could use better street lighting as it felt a bit dark and unsettling at night. Overall, a fantastic getaway spot!

The front desk was unstaffed at night, requiring a phone call to get assistance, which was inconvenient as we didn't have a local SIM card. Breakfast was quite mediocre, and the hotel's appearance didn't quite live up to the polished photos. Our room had only a small window, making it a bit dim with no view. The location was decent though, very close to the beach. The family room was fairly spacious, and we could push the beds together, which was enough for our group of three adults and two children. We booked primarily for the pool, but it turned out to be quite small, only suitable for kids to splash around in. Housekeeping staff were friendly; they'd fold towels into animal shapes if tipped. The shower pressure and overhead shower were much better than in other hotels we've stayed at. What's more, our 10-year-old wasn't charged for breakfast, whereas other hotels charged for the child in a 2-adult, 1-child booking.
