Already a centre for trade and bustling activity many centuries ago, at the present day the Gewandhaus continues to open its doors wide to the city of Dresden and its people, welcoming visitors with its show bakery and restaurant, not only on an everyday basis but also for special events.
"In general, I see a discrepancy between demand/price and reality. The hotel was nicely renovated, but rooms are very small. The interior is very quiet, but there is something missing at ambience (background music? ...). Service not at 5 stars level (bsp was not offered us at any time help with our baggage, even not, When a staff member accidentally went to the same chair). Location is top. But price is too high."
