Hotels in Dongmun Market / Jeju City Hall, Jeju

The hotel is a short taxi ride from the airport, costing approximately 7,000 KRW. It's located right by the sea with fantastic views. Our triple room comfortably accommodated three adults, and the bathroom had a convenient wet/dry separation. The hotel is conveniently surrounded by three small convenience stores, a large supermarket, a McDonald's, and a street famous for grilled black pork, making it very easy to find breakfast and lunch options. The duty-free shop is a bit further, costing around 9,000 KRW by taxi. Right next door, the Topten10 clothing store offers incredibly affordable clothes. The hotel provides daily housekeeping and complimentary bottled water. The mattress and bedding quality were excellent, ensuring a very comfortable night's sleep. Highly recommended!

Location: The hotel is very close to the airport, a taxi ride costing around 7,800 KRW. However, public transport access isn't very convenient. On the bright side, it's just 200 meters from the beach, which is fantastic! Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean and well-maintained. Thumbs up! 👍 Value for Money: Paying 700 for a sea-view room during the peak summer season was still quite reasonable. If you visit during the off-peak season, it's only 300-400, which is an absolute steal! Room Size: Our sea-view family room was quite spacious. It was very comfortable for two people, and the bed was large and soft. 😊 Soundproofing: The soundproofing isn't great; we could easily hear people coming and going in the hallway and their conversations. Facilities: There's a swimming pool available, which is excellent for families with children. Every day, opening the window revealed a different shade of the sea; it was like a 'jelly sea' – absolutely mesmerizing! 😍

The location is excellent, right by Dongmun Market, making it easy to walk to both Dongmun Market and Chilseong-ro Shopping Street. Public transport is incredibly convenient, with direct bus routes to the duty-free shop. Right opposite, there appears to be a park where many visitors were taking photos in traditional Korean Hanbok. There are also plenty of convenience stores nearby. All in all, the location is superb. Check-in is fully automated; there are no staff members on duty. You simply scan a QR code upon arrival and follow the on-screen instructions, and a video guide is also provided. The room amenities, however, are a bit dated. I did notice cleaning staff tidying up as I was checking out.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, with a bus stop conveniently situated right outside. This is fantastic for catching direct routes to all the scenic spots. The interior space was decent, and everything was clean and tidy. However, there was no Chinese-speaking staff available, despite expectations. Furthermore, the air conditioning was incredibly difficult to operate; I couldn't get it to work, leading to an unbearably hot night.

Convenient & Friendly Stay in Jeju Among the 4 hotels I booked for this trip, this one had the most guest-friendly check-in/out policy — check-in after 2 PM and check-out before 12 PM, unlike many hotels in Busan that require check-in after 4 PM (even 8 PM!) and check-out before 10 AM. The staff was friendly, though she only spoke Chinese — but no problem, she was sweet and used a translation app to communicate. The room was small and didn’t have a closet or hanger, but it was clean, new, and comfortable. Perfect if you just need a safe and convenient place to sleep. Great location, only 20 minutes to the airport, with many bus routes nearby for exploring Jeju’s top sights.

The property is very clean and I love that they came to clean your room everyday. Staff present during this booking were very friendly and accommodating but I had an earlier booking with friends and staff were too stiff and unbothered.

I recently stayed at Ocean Suites, and it was a fantastic experience! The room was impressively big and spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and unwind. This comfort was a significant plus during our stay. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was its convenient location as a pick-up point for local tours. It made organizing our excursions incredibly easy and stress-free. Additionally, Ocean Suites is close to the airport, which was perfect for our travel plans. The hotel is also near Dongmun Market, (photos attached)a bustling spot where we enjoyed exploring local food and shopping. Overall, Ocean Suites combines comfort, convenience, and accessibility, making it an excellent choice for anyone visiting the area. I would definitely stay here again!

First of all: the stairs at the door are not friendly! You have to carry them up by yourself, and there is no guidance for the elevator 🛗. Environmental protection: I don’t like this pale toilet! Facilities: Here comes the point, the sound insulation is super poor, the toilet upstairs is located at the door of my room, and the sound of flushing the toilet upstairs can be clearly heard, which is disgusting. The air conditioning is like turning on a low-quality range hood. You have to turn off the air conditioning at night to sleep, otherwise it is really noisy. Then when other rooms open and close the door, the room will resonate, which is very similar to the sound of someone opening the door. Finally, the bedding is very uncomfortable, like the texture of a jacket, very uncomfortable. Service: I stayed for three days, and no one even came to clean, and I had to apply for changing towels myself.

The location is in the old city. It is 5 minutes by taxi from Qixing Street. The room is relatively large. A big bed and a single bed. I sleep with the child. The big bed is big enough. The boss is Korean. Very warm. When we go out to the airport, we also help us take a taxi.

I've stayed at this hotel a couple of times. The room is spacious, bed is comfortable and it comes with free water bottles in the fridge. It's conveniently located close to a couple of different clubs, bars and restaurants but also in a quiet enough area so you don't hear any loud noise. I will definitely book this hotel again when I'm in Jeju
