I have stayed at various Toyoko Inn before. I have no complain for this one. The issue I encountered this time is that I got a smoking room, and the hotel was fully booked,?so not possible to switch. I thought I have always been very careful about booking a non-smoking room. Not sure where the mistake was happened.

Marugame Station is right in front of the hotel, so I thought it would be perfect for a train trip or a business trip!
The staff were very kind and treated me well.
They served breakfast in the morning and udon in the evening, which looked delicious.
I went there by motorcycle this time, but I was able to park next to the entrance.
You need to make a reservation in advance to park your car, but you can also park it on the premises.

The hotel is opposite the station. You can see it as soon as you exit the station. There is a large supermarket next to the station, which is convenient for shopping. There are not many restaurants around the hotel. The hotel provides free udon noodles before 8 pm. The hotel is clean and hygienic.

Hotels in Japan are all mini. The stay for us, two adults and one child, was okay. This hotel is in a good location, just across the street from the station. There is also free udon noodles in the evening.
