The feeling of a water house is different from that of a sand house, but the underwater scenery in the sea around this island is really not very good. What I want most when staying in a water house is to open the door and jump into the sea for snorkeling, but this island is different from the one I stayed at last time. Compared with the island, the snorkeling scenery is really much worse. Friends who like snorkeling do not recommend this hotel.

Excellent resort with a great reef and underwater life. Especially but not only suitable for families due to the fantastic kids club. Famous underwater restaurant. Excellent food in all other 4 locations offer variety of different food styles at a very high level. We are not divers so can not comment first hand but water sport basis is great: snorkelling, jet ski, fun activities etc. Very friendly and supportive staff across island incl. a top SPA area with all sorts of treatments. Last not least - GYM is top, newest facilities perfect location and mostly empty from guests. Great way to make room for excellent restaurant food. :-)

Everything was PERFECT. the air transport and care round trip. Personnel in Male was great. The resort is stunning with amazing food and restaurants. The over water villa was extremely nice luxurious and comfortable and our butler was extremely attentive his nena is Azmeen and he has so many extra details for us in our anniversary. Executive chef (Joachim Textor) visited with us on every single meal and gave us great recommendations. Maurice the resort director also made sure that we were happy during our stay. I would come back anytime. Memory that we will always cherish!

Me and my wife loosen this amazing place for our 15th anniversary. Beautiful nature, amazing and friendly staff, great service and delicious food. SEA under water restaurant is exceptional. But all other restaurants are also really good.

This resort is magnificent. It was our second time there and we still love it. It is very unpretentious and absolutely authentic. It fits much better to the Maldives than the luxurious, modern French and American resorts and the guests have lots of privacy. Our host, Maria, pampered and supported us in a fabulous way. Unfortunately, the management - besides the Chef - was not present at all. Two years ago that was completely different. The breakfast buffet is our favorite all over the world. Regarding the bungalows you should choose, if you prefer a wide beach and more wind (sunrise) or a narrow beach, less wind and some noise because of the seaplanes (sunset) which doesn't disturb much. There are also water bungalows but for swimming it's not ideal and to find some shadow there is difficult depending on which side you are staying. Water sports is very expensive but I guess, they don't want too much water traffic which is absolutely understandable. The reef has some beautiful parts, if you know where to snorkel. In case you are lucky, you will also encounter some turtles.
