The hotel facilities are relatively old and the hygiene is average, but the scenery of Sounkyo is really nice. It snowed heavily when I went there, and it was nice to play in the powder snow for an afternoon and then go back to the hotel to soak in the hot springs. The buffet variety is okay. The Ice Falls Festival is a small ice sculpture park, and you can rent tires for skating.

The hotel is a bit old, but the service is good. There are cable cars and fireworks festivals nearby. It is suitable for chartering or self-driving. There are also some hot spring hotels around, which are all very good.

It's close to the Sounkyo ropeway, and it's in a high position in the hot spring area, so the view was great. The food was delicious and the hot springs were nice ♨️

The room is very spacious and clean. The hot springs are also very good and silky. There are many kinds. The buffet ingredients are rich and fresh and the variety is very suitable for Chinese tastes.

The location is okay, but it is obviously an old-fashioned hotel that has been eliminated. The difference in hot spring bath experience is simply appalling. Compared with the price, the price/performance ratio is too low, the food is not exquisite, and the public space is also very poor. The trip to Daodong is the worst hotel!

The Chinese lady at the front desk and the guy in the lobby are very nice 🙂 The attitude of some Japanese staff is not very good🙁 The room is level 10, with a strong smell of smoke and thick smoke on the walls. When I entered the room, my nose sensitivity started to attack again.

It's a very old hotel. You really would choose it when you have no choice. It's not cost-effective.

I went to see the earliest autumn leaves in Japan and stayed there. The bath was nice. You can see the Ishikari River and Mt. Kurodake in a 180° panorama. The soft serve ice cream for dessert was also delicious.

The hotel aesthetic is wonderful, the rooms were spacious and clean, the food provided was wonderful and the hot springs were incredible. The location is slightly difficult to get to as a foreigner (I speak very little Japanese but can read a little bit) but once there it was an incredible experience. Easily one of the nicest locations and hotels I’ve stayed in.

I'm a fan of Noguchi Kanko. But this time it's dry. Good things first. Hot springs are good. The food is decent, but there is a menu that suggests what you want to eat, so it's fun to choose. Well, I'm having a hard time writing down what I've been wondering about from now on. First, the staff. Our multinational staff is working hard. I like how they try their best to respond even though it's not their native language. However, there are too few non-dinner staff. How many staff members did you pass from the front desk to the shop? We hardly pass each other. I imagine that it is difficult to secure staff after the coronavirus pandemic, but it seems like the staff are doing their best just to finish the work at hand, and they don't have the luxury of looking at the smiling faces of the guests. I think so. I don't think we can provide good service. There was such a thing. I pressed the cafe au lait button at the free drink corner in the lobby. What came out was hot milk. I guess they were out of coffee. I thought that such details were to be reported by the guests. There was such a thing. I wanted to have a drink at the restaurant, but when I sat down, no one would take my order. So I asked the person at the venue and was told to order at the ordering corner. I went to the ordering corner and was asked for my room number and seat number. There were no instructions on how to order. I'm glad I remembered my seat number, but I'm sure some people will have to go back and check their seats. There was such a thing. Due to the number of guests, we needed one futon. There was no futon laid out. That's fine up to that point. I asked for a futon. The staff member who arrived said, ``Maybe there was a mistake in contacting me about the beauty,'' but that has nothing to do with me. There was no explanation given at checkout either. The previous Noguchi Kanko hotels provided more than enough satisfaction for the price. That's why I chose Noguchi Kanko and stayed here. I don't think I'm getting a service worth the price right now. I intentionally gave a harsh review because I want it to remain as a locally-owned hot spring hotel chain 10 years from now. I apologize if you feel uncomfortable after reading this, but I wrote what I thought.

As other people have said in their negative reviews about the food, it's really bad. There's nothing to eat. The selection is so small and the quality is so poor. It's hard to believe that the food at a hotel that costs over 35,000 yen for 2 people with 2 meals for 1 night is so bad. The hot springs are still as good as ever, so it's a real shame. They should either make it 20,000 yen for 2 people with 2 meals for 1 night, or keep the current price and at least double the buffet selection. Mountain buffet? I don't know what the name is, but there's no tuna or shrimp. Of course, there's no salmon roe or crab, which are standard at hotel buffets. It's really surprising how little food there is. As for the a**osphere, is it for inbound demand? I don't think they have any consideration for Japanese customers. It seems to be targeted at Chinese and Korean people who visit once in their lifetime. That being said, that buffet is awful.
