The hotel is great and the rooms are very big. The hotel is close to the lake and there is an Internet celebrity swimming pool. Although the hotel facilities are a bit old, the overall facilities are very good. The breakfast ordered by the hotel is delivered to the room. The portion for three people is like 6 people. Food😂

The staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean.
The rooms were spacious and the showers had plenty of hot water.
There was a kitchen so it was suitable for long stays and was very good for the price.
I got the feeling that it was a nice business hotel rather than a resort.
Since it is built on top of a mountain, there were ants in the room, but they didn't bother me.
The location is far from town and difficult to get to on foot.

The room was very basic, not particularly clean, and lacked any charm. The staff was completely incompetent, and the services were practically non-existent. They didn’t even have something as simple as a Coca-Cola Zero or a thermometer. The pool was in constant shade, making the water always cold, and the pool bar was closed with no staff available. They didn’t provide towels, and the pool loungers were uncomfortable and dirty. The breakfast was extremely poor, with very limited options, and the food was terrible—completely tasteless and disappointing. To make things worse, the photos online are completely misleading and do not reflect the reality of the property. Overall, this hotel was a massive letdown, far from what was advertised. Save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere!

The serene kandy hotel is by far the best hotel I have been to in Kandy.The staff is very friendly and for the morning the have an amazing breakfast buffet.This hotel makes you feel at home and adds a luxurious touch too…For the afternoon and dinner they have a set menu, and everything on it tastes amazing.The rooftop pool with a bar next to it has a very aesthetic and beautiful view.The luxurious yellow light add ambience to the hotel.The rooms give a perfect ambience for reading and they have a broader set of channels compared to most hotels.U should never think twice about coming here and it is definitely worth the price.I and the rest of my family would also like to thank the receptionist, Ms. Shashikala for helping us choose the perfect room and being so friendly overall.Definitely coming back on my next visit

Serene Kandy is a Beautiful hotel. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Clean room, great food, and amazing rooftop pool! Great location with easy valet parking! We wish we had more time to stay here and would stay here again in the future 🙂

Staff is super friendly. Really big room with stunning view. And perfect pool with also amazing view. Recommend the kitchen for breakfast and Dinner. Thanks to everybody for making our stay amazing! Also organised a driver and gave tipps!

We enjoyed staying at Serene Kandy for a week. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good. We love Sri Lanka omelettes!! The view from our balcony was spectacular. And the rooftop swimming pool was great for morning and evening swims. Thank you for having us.
