La Flora Khao Lak

Very beautiful and relaxing resort. Great with kids. Wide variety spread for the breakfast.

Dirty algae ridden unhealthy main swimming pool. The beach front swimming pool is the main attraction as its in a remote location with few things to do. If the pool is neglected and unusable why would anyone stay here? This hotel has slowly deteriorated over the past year, clearly management neglect.

This was my first time at La Flora but I was amazed by everything the hotel had to offer. Great location, great pools, great amenities but most importantly really great staff. The room cleaning service was also impeccable. The perfect place to relax and enjoy a great holiday. Will definitely be back ❤️

The resort is very good for a couple and family. Housekeepers is ok, but I hope they have better well train. Overall is good. Facilities are very well. Food are also good.

La Flora was the 11th Hotel I stayed at since I left Taiwan on the 23rd July, 2023. And, I absolutely loved it! Our family enjoyed a lovely dinner while the sun was setting. It was wonderful to sit at the beach and have breakfast the next morning. The breakfast was great! We also enjoyed the pools a lot. La Flora is great for families. They just made my evening very special.

Clean and breakfast so good. Beautiful hotel. We will back again

Pros: 1. Very beautiful resort with a private beach. 2. Two swimming pools. 3. Very nice breakfast. Western and Asian food. Cheese and sushi. Two different kind of coffee, fresh omelette. And you can have the breakfast with a nice view. 4. Different activities on the territory of the resort. Like Thai boxing, yoga etc. most of them are free, except Thai boxing (which is super affordable). 5. Good location for Khao Lak. Varieties of massages and restaurants nearby. 6. Spacious room with a big balcony. 7. Nice food and drinks at the restaurant. 8. Good WiFi. Cons: 1. The stuff is not very well trained. They don’t know much about activities, and it takes time to figure things out. 2. No information in the room about anything, and there is no information what number to call if you want to order room service for example. 3. Asked me to write a feedback. But there is no pen in the room. (Maybe they don’t need that feedback after all). 4. Ordered room service, and they picked up the plate after almost 24 hours (even tho I called them to pick it up). 5. They do not provide toothbrush or toothpaste in the room. And they don’t refill anything except water. Like cotton pads and shower cap. That’s one time thing courtesy I guess. Take into consideration the following: 1. It is FAR from Phuket airport. So consider paying at least 100$ for taxi both ways. And if you will continue your journey on Phuket. It will be expensive. 2. It is not for party lovers. More like get away for a family, or solo travelers that want to chill and relax. 3. If you have cash, exchange it before coming to khao lak. It is hard to find a working bank, that will exchange for a reasonable rate. Overall 8,5/10. Good value for money. And if they would improve on service, and guiding more what can be done at the resort, would be 10/10.
