Hotels in Chaweng Beach, Koh Samui

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Felt so warmth with their smiling face all the times. The strategic location makes it convenient for us to look for food.

Great Swimming Pool - Amazing Poolside staff always smiling always helpful and amazingly friendly - Just lovely - All the th staff were just so so helpful smiling and genuinely lovely - But - Unfortunately the room I had overall was dirty and had really poor hygiene and cleanliness levels - The Bathroom and shower were disgusting - I very politely and nicely asked the hotel to clean the Shower and Bathroom Areas - They did but not to a great level and it was still quite dirty - Apart from the cleanliness of the Rooms - Overall and mainly due to the fabulous Smiling Staff the Hotel is a great choice and only 5 minutes walk to the beach and nearby Amenities 👌🏼🫶🏼💯....

Deceived by photos on app when we decided to book the room, only to find out the location is on a very narrow, busy & crowded spot. The positive outcome from is the hotel is new and rooms are nice, and everything is accessible in walking distance ie the mall & restaurants, convenient stores, also it's on the beach!

Nice place, walking distance to the mall and night market. If you're looking for a party area, this hotel would be great because it's close to the nightlife. Staff was helpful, and their breakfast was good.

Great pool, clean part of the beach, close enough to walk to lots of cafes and shops. We booked as a family on one booking but were told at check-in we would have to stay in separate areas of the hotel… this was very disappointing as we had requested rooms close together. Manager wasn’t that friendly when we asked to change room to be closer together. Most staff working at resort were friendly and it was clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

I had a lovely stay at Samui First Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff welcomed warmly and even offered a refreshing welcome drink, which was a nice touch. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. The hotel offers plenty of amenities, and the breakfast in the morning was delicious—definitely a great way to start the day. The pool area is clean and well-maintained, perfect for a quick dip or relaxing by the water. Although there's no elevator, it wasn’t a big issue for me. The hotel is a bit far from Central Samui and the beach, so renting a bike is a good idea if you want to explore the island. Chaweng Beach is the closest, and it's a beautiful spot. I also recommend checking out Ark Bar—it’s a great place to chill, especially in the late afternoon or evening. Overall, a pleasant experience and a great place to stay on Samui Island.🤗❤️

I stayed at Arkbar for 2 nights and unfortunately, it was a very mixed experience. The positives: The location is definitely great—right on the beach and close to everything in Koh Samui. Check-in was quick and easy. The facilities, especially the pool and beach area, are nice and lively during the day. The negatives (and they outweigh the positives): Noise: Sleeping here is nearly impossible unless you’re planning to be out partying all night yourself. It’s not just the music (which I expected), but the guests—people shouting in the hallways at 3am and again at 6am, waking me up both nights. Cleanliness: Honestly unacceptable. The bed sheets were stained, had hairs, and even bugs. The bathroom was filthy—handprints on the mirror, used cotton buds on the floor, and grime in the shower. I called to have it cleaned, but they only changed the bed sheets. Customer Service: When I told the manager about the room at checkout, her response was just “sorry, no one told me,” which doesn’t really cut it. Only after I mentioned leaving a review did she offer a “free breakfast voucher”—which was a joke, as it didn’t even cover a full meal and drink. Restaurant: Speaking of food, I tried the avocado toast with poached eggs and it was the blandest thing I’ve ever tasted. Overpriced, underwhelming, and disappointing overall. No discounts for guests at their own bar or restaurant either, which felt stingy considering the prices and what you get for it. For the amount of money I paid, this was absolutely not good enough. Unless you only care about partying and don’t plan to sleep or care about cleanliness, I’d recommend staying elsewhere. Would not recommend.

Regular traveler to Chaweng Gardens and have always appreciated the ammenities (pool, massage, bar, breakfast), location, the service and of course the cleanliness. Thoroughly recommend to all

We had a fabulous stay at Chaweng Cove, the staff can't do enough to help and appease you, location is perfect away from chaweng strip which is very busy. Breakfast was excellent fresh eggs cooked anyway you prefer, beach is narrow but we loved the big waves and lazing on the loungers, if you really want to get a lounger by the pool area get up early as they are all gone by let say the older generation don't know why you want to sit by a pool all day can do that anywere. Trips we like the Ethical elephant sanctuary which was nice and you feed the elephants and get loads of pictures. Zipwire experience was great fun 9 different zip line but go early as it gets very busy later in the day

The first time I saw it, it was beautiful and beyond the price. The staff were lovely and attentive. The first 1-2 days, I had a problem with the cat. The cat was up in the ceiling, not sleeping. The cat was running around. When I informed the staff, they immediately changed it. This time, it came quickly. I'll definitely come back next time, as my time was too short.
