Ramada Encore Kunming Guandu

Perfect experience with Ramada Encore! Great experience from the front desk, spacious room, cleanliness, and comfy design.

The hotel is walking distance from the Kunming train station (north exit). Check in was simple and rooms are spacious with all the basic amenities available. Enjoyed using the projector in the room - which was a great surprise! One point to note, do not use google map for this hotel as it’s incorrect.

We were upgraded to a room in 24th floor upon check-in. The room is very large with one king bed, one single bed and a sofa. Bed is super comfortable. Staffs are very helpful even if we speak very little Chinese. The place is less than 10 min walk to Kunming railway station, very easy for traveling. But to a subway station is about 15 min walk. Plenty of food strolls and restaurants around the hotel. However, there is no refrigerator in the room, very surprised to that.

They kindly upgraded my room for free. Room makeup service was great, very clean. They are not stingy with towels/water, etc. Amenities are sufficient - gym and laundry (detergent provided, dryer available). Good number of eateries around. They kindly extended my checkout by 1 hour because I couldn't rush back in time.

I like the location close to the train station in Kunming. Plenty of food to eat around the hotel. The rooms are spacious and they gave us an upgrade! Great stay!

The lady at the reception was very helpful and friendly. Upon checking in, I was informed that I had been upgraded to a higher room category at no extra cost. The upgraded room was spacious and offered views of the city skyline. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Overall, my experience at Ramada Hotel exceeded all expectations, thanks in large part to the complimentary room upgrade.

Great location near train station but not so accessible from metro. The building houses a few different hotels all sharing the same set of elevators. Service is generally good.

Conveniently located just 10 minutes walk from the Kunming station. There's local eateries around and supermarket. Love the 20th floor projector screen to watch movies before bed. Will return if I come back to Kunming!

Location is great, staff are extremely friendly and goes out of the way to help if necessary. Would stay here again in future, rooms are modern and clean, close to food options and train station
