In China it is rather difficult to find a non-smoking room/hotel. Im so glad Ibis here has this! Drinks are placed at the counter for guests to drink throughout the day and the staff are very enthusiastic and helpful. We had a wonderful time staying at Ibis and will definitely recommend to all.

Great little hotel as expected from an ibis. Made welcome from the moment you entered, and every time you go out and come back! Whilst the room is a little snug for twin beds and luggage, it was clean and functional. Only real complaint about the room was probably the aircon didn't always do its job, and some nights was too warm to sleep well. Location is five minutes or so from subway and a short trip away from main station. But it is a little on the outside of the main areas. Would stay again. Don't really have any photos of the room, so here are some places you should definitely visit in Kunming.

Walking distance to Metro station. Front desk and all service staff are very professional and their service provided is exceptional excellent. 6 stars service rating to all front desk service staff.

Very good and clean hotel. I have been many iBis hotel and this one is the best.

The room is small, there no closet at all, and amenities are very basic. We didn't take the buffet breakfast as we wanted to explore local cuisine. Location wise, it on the main busy street, about 6 mins walk to Tangzixiang metro and around 30-35 mins walk to the pedestrian street and old street. The service from when we check in was good. The guy offer us tea and their local treats. When we came back one late afternoon, they also offer us a tea as well. When we check out, the lady gave us a leaving gift (hand cream) 😊 thanks for that, and hence service 5 stars. Overall, if you want to live close close to the train station, this is quite close, but if you want to stay closer to where there's more food options, the pedestrian street, you can find somewhere closer.

Location is centrally placed, walking distance to metro station, shops and shopping malls. All staffs are very hospitalable and helpful, recommend to stay

This is a very good location with walking distance to the central shopping area Shun Shopping and Kunming Old street. Also there are Heng Long high end shopping district. Convenient for going to the train station too. Overall pleasant stay with clean modern room.

Good basic option not too far from the centre of Kunming. Cheap buffet breakfast is available.
