Daily Housekeeping is only for clearing of trash and changing of towels. Cleaning of the floors and making of bed is only once every three days. Cooking utensils are all provided and very convenient. Hotel is quite a distance away from the subway station. However we drove, no parking available at the hotel so we had to park at nearby public carpark. Staff were nice and well mannered. Enjoyed the stay at Mimaru Nijo Castle! Just wished the complete housekeeping is made daily. Would love to come back to a nicely made bed while we’re on a holiday. But overall it was a pleasant stay!

Clean, Nice and cozy apartment hotel! The only cons is near the main road which can be a bit noisy.

I had a wonderful time with my family at Mimaru nijo castle. The best part of the hotel was the customer service. The staff went the extra mile to help us out and we were absolutely impressed by that. Special thanks to Zun at the front desk team. You made our family trip really special.

Room is comfortable. One thing bad is the heating water system is hard to understand for foreigner. I suggest to take a video to teach customers.

The transportation is very convenient. You can get off the bus and walk a short distance to get there. The room is very large. We can bring five suitcases and they can all be opened and there is space. There is a washer and dryer in the room, which is very convenient for independent travelers.

Very comfortable accommodation with microwave, induction cooker and refrigerator for cooking. There is a big Lawson nearby. I buy pudding every day, and one of the flavors is particularly delicious! The service here is very considerate and there are many delicious foods nearby. It is especially suitable for bringing children!

It was so comfortable and there was a bit of dust on the window, but the view was great. Also, the structure was too stable compared to Osaka Mimaru, but it was a pity that the bathing area was a bit cool. However, there is both a washing machine and detergent, and since they are all used, they provide another one. It was nice that the heating was air-conditioned, so if I hung up the laundry at night and went to bed, it would dry the next day! It's the first hotel I stayed in Kyoto, and I wanted to stay there all the time, but it's a bit far from the station (about 15 minutes on foot), so it was a bit difficult to travel by subway. I did, but the taxi came out to about 10,000 won! One more unfortunate thing was that the child hit her head under the bunk bed in the evening and was slightly bleeding, but there was no first aid medicine, so I had to go to the pharmacy the next morning. It was fine. The service of the staff was so good, and from the afternoon of the first day, the children spilled crumbs of cookies, so I applied for a rental vacuum cleaner, but I was able to rent it only in the evening of the third day. More! First of all, I was satisfied with everything except for the things I wrote down. It was okay to rent simple board games, etc., and to be able to use a coffee machine in the lobby, but it was limited, so don't expect much... Soundproofing didn't seem to work well. Me and my mom kept listening to that sound and woke up. What do you mean?

We really enjoyed our stay at Mimaru Kyoto Nijo Castle. Highly recommend! The hotel is conveniently located right in front of a bus stop for easy transport throughout Kyoto. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful, spacious, and very clean rooms. Comfortably fit my family of 6 (four kids), which is very hard to find among hotels in Japan. The kids really enjoyed the bunk beds. The decor was a beautiful mix of modern and traditional. There are many charging outlets conveniently located throughout the room. We were very happy to have a washer/dryer and kitchenette in the room. Short walk to convenience stores. We really loved this hotel so much, we didn't want to leave. Thank you!

It is a perfect apartment/hotel for our few days in Kyoto. A well-equipped kitchen for cooking light meals, laundry machine and plenty of space! The staffs are very helpful and always pleasant!
