The hotel is stunning and located in an old wood storage facility the team really did an amazing job on creating a unique stay experience. Breakfast was very personal and authentic and the bath in the room was sublime. As with older buildings it is hard to keep spiderwebs and dust away from all corners yet it was very clean overall besides that. Staff was very friendly and even though great location near Noji castle and the palace it is a bit further away from the centre. Subway is just 3 blocks away, busses nearby are plenty and overall a very recommended stay.

We had a wonderful time at this ryoken. The staff and service were impeccable; the room was beautiful and serene. We would recommend this to anyone.

My husband and I were visiting our daughter and husband who are stationed in Japan. This was our first trip to Japan. We loved this hotel. The service was excellent, the location was very convenient, and the room was elegant, spacious, and with a beautiful private garden. The wooden bathtub was so relaxing!

Facilities: Everything is available and exquisite. It was winter when I went there, and the floor heating was so comfortable. Wooden bathtub, toilet and shower separated. Environment: The location is relatively remote and low-key, and you can't find it without looking carefully. It doesn't look like a hotel of this price range from the outside. Hygiene: Japan's hygiene is really poor, I don't know how to clean it up. Whether it's a hotel, a restaurant, or on the street, it's really clean. Summary: The hotel is quite good, with average facilities. It is really expensive compared to more than 5,000 RMB/night. If you are an ordinary office worker like me, I suggest you choose carefully, as you may be disappointed. If you are brothers and sisters who are not short of money, you might as well give it a try.

This is the hotel with the lowest cost performance I have ever stayed in. Let's talk about the house facilities first. The blinds were broken. I asked the waiter for help, but the waiter didn't know how to pull the blinds all the way down and lied that it was impossible to pull them all the way down, which caused me to be woken up by the sun very early in the morning. Although the breakfast was customized, it was not easy to sit by the stove and eat grilled food for breakfast on a hot day. The hotel front desk waiter started work without training. When encountering any problems, they were very polite and said they would call back later, including questions about checking train schedules. The room hygiene was only cleaned every day upon request, and there was even a spider crawling on my bed. The room soundproofing was also very poor, and I could clearly hear the yawns of the neighbors next door. Our room rate was still 7,000 RMB per night.

The service is very good, there is a free welcome gift when you check in, but the air conditioner in the room is like a tractor, it is so noisy, it is completely out of proportion to the room fee of more than 3,000, oh, what a mistake

It's great. The hotel is a small fusion of modern and ancient times~ Although the location is so-so, the small and excellent rooms can fully make up for it. The breakfast is very rich and worth having!

Check in reception was extremely friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is authentic and amazing also the room design. Breakfast is an experience you shouldn’t miss Also the private bath is relaxing and stress relief. Overall 10/10

Magical place. My partner and I had an amazing time and have nothing but good things to say about our stay. Unlike hotels we stayed in in Tokyo and Osaka, Nazuna felt like home. Gorgeous room, complimentary champagne every afternoon, minifridge stocked with free drinks and breakfast that was akin to having your own personal chef. PRO TIP: Add breakfast to your reservation. This was the coolest part

While I'm writing this review I'm enjoying the fresh air of the private garden listening to the sound of the rain. This is the only sound you'll be able to listen here, the neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet. It's a perfect getaway for couples. We got the Kuzukiri room for one night but let me tell you, worth it. The room is so comfortable, the semi open bath is amazing, a great way to improve your stay. The meals are well served, dinner and breakfast, both traditional Kyoto cuisine to experiment Japan at its finest. The staff is very nice, very attentive. They've made us feel like we were royals for one day.
