Booked just one night so that we can rest immediately after a long day of travel that ended at the Kyoto Station. The hotel is just across the street from the JR rail line; you can even see it from the platform. The room is small for three people. There were two single beds plus an extra slightly shorter bed set up, and a small round table with two side chairs. Our suitcases filled some of the remaining space.
The room was very clean and the beds very comfortable. The bathroom was small but very, very clean and functional. The hotel appeared to be newish or recently renovated.
It was also amazingly quiet for being just across the street from the train station. With the curtain drawn, I thought perhaps the room faced away from the train station, but when I opened the curtains, I was looking directly at the train station. So well insulated!
There was a breakfast included in the room charge. It included some eggs, sausages and pastries as well as a Japanese breakfast selections. Even without the breakfast the room was incredible value for money.
One of us had forgotten a couple of clothing items. When I called a few days later, they had the items for us kept in their Lost and Found. Excellent service!
