Great location for visiting Kyomizu and Gion areas. Spacious apar**ent with a mixture of traditional and modern Japanese interior. Friendly owner but a bit difficult to communicate with he in English. The check-in and check-out procedures are done online at the front desk and seem unnecessary. The check-in time is too late at 16:00. It should start at 14:00.

The front desk staff and the owner were very helpful, and the rooftop dog run was great for those with dogs.
The only thing that bothered me was the weak water pressure and the hot water never getting hot...the temperature control was poor.
If the bathroom environment could be improved, I think it would be great for those with dogs.
