The hotel room was clean and fresh, fairly modern and simply decorated, with the amenities you would expect - ensuite shower room, television and even a safe. The room wasn't enormous, but perfectly adequate for a one night stay. The bed was comfortable and the pillows and bedding of a good quality. USB points AND electric sockets next to the bed were a nice touch. The shower room was also very clean, but being small got quite steamy when you took a shower and I noticed mold spots are starting to appear on the ceiling - maybe inadequate ventilation? I certainly didn't hear the VMC turn on and there was no separate switch to do so - however, the shower room and towels were spotlessly clean. Soap, shower gel and paper cups were provided. We didn't have breakfast, but the staff at check in and check out were very pleasant. The hotel is about 10 minutes from the centre of Agen and so we took the car to go in to eat in the evening although there are a few restaurants (pizza) within walking distance. Overall, no complaints and good value for money. Well done.

Not knowing the Best Western catering formula, we were more than surprised when we were served a meal in a jar in a small tray without anything to drink or a glass.

First of all, we were very well received, and very warmly received by our hostess, Maëva. We had a great weekend and ate in some great restaurants that she highly recommended. The Best Western hotel was very clean, the breakfasts were as good as in the other French hotels where we have stayed, and the comfort was also there.
