The City Rooms

Room on the third floor by stairs. It was cleaned and very spacious. Great quality/price ratio. Perfectly located in the city centre close to bars and places to eat. Since I made the booking they have been responsive and helpful online the entire time.

Me and my partner got married at the City Rooms for a really sentimental reason. My parents got married there and so did my aunty! We planned our wedding within 6 weeks and I honestly cannot compliment the venue and the staff enough. Beth and Emily (our contacts) were just so amazing in absolutely everything. We were of course overwhelmed by planning a wedding in such a short space of time but they took EVERYTHING off our plates and when our family/friends asked where they can help, our answer to everything was “the venue is looking after this”..they have built such an amazing relationship with all of the different suppliers and worked with everyone so well, it’s as if nothing was ever too much. Beth is such an amazing planner and we felt sooo comfortable with her, explaining our vision, what we wanted on the day, how we wanted things to work out..Emily was fairly new at this point and again the most helpful. We were able to drop things off to the venue earlier, the whole team treated us with so much love that we will never forget how amazing this day worked out to be! The food was incredible on the day and 4 months after our wedding, we are receiving so much positive feedback from our guests and I would highly recommend the crispy bhajia as that’s the one dish all of our guests can’t get over! Thanks again to the whole team for such an incredible day ❤️ we will never forget how much you did for us and how you made us both feel at ease. We did not expect the support you all handed to us when we booked the venue and we couldn’t have planned our wedding without all of your efforts!

Had my wedding held here and it was abs beautiful. We had a lovely wedding coordinator Rachel that made the whole planning process so much easier with her helping at any given chance thank you for making my wedding the best it could be. The hotel rooms are absolutely lovely and the building inside is beautiful. The staff did everything they could to make sure that everything went as smoothly as possible I can not be any more grateful

An absolute gem! A beautifully cared for historic building, right in the city centre. The rooms were so spacious and comfortable. The huge bath was such a treat! And the chocolates! So lovely! The staff were polite, efficient and so helpful. They also knew lots about the building's history. A great place to stay!

We booked a room in this beautiful quirky building in the middle of Leicester. Free parking was a bonus. The rooms are large and original. They are noisy being in the centre which you would expect but it was the clock every hour and not the pubs 😂 But ear plugs are provided. There was a wedding on which looked beautiful. The room needed some draw storage and probably some internal double glazing. Staff were pleasant, thank you.

We had our wedding at The City rooms Leicester this past weekend. Right from the sales with Naomi and to the very end, it was as beautiful as we imagined. Olivia was just exceptional through the whole process of planning, changes and so many adjustments to the plan. She was ever so professional and so calming which is what you need with wedding stress. On our special day, Olivia was so reassuring and made sure everything was so perfect. Our guests kept complementing on the food and the venue. We are so thankful and would recommend the city rooms to our family and friends.

So so happy with this venue! We had our wedding reception here and the staff and service was absolutely perfect. I cannot thank Paris and the team enough. The rooms were cosy and the location was perfect. Great for either an event or just a place to stay if you're in Leicester city centre
