This youth hostel has non-smoking rooms. It's like a small courtyard with a patio, which is warm in winter. The owner and the front desk are very friendly. I borrowed a toothbrush charging cable from the owner. I went to the Potala Palace the next day and had severe altitude sickness. The owner equipped my room with an oxygen cylinder. I traveled in the off-season, and I was the only one in a room with 3 beds. The location is within 10 to 20 minutes' walk to the Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, and the Potala Palace.
