Hotel Al Togo Fitness & Relax

Honestly, I read a lot of bad reviews but if I have my say, my partner and I had a more than good time. We stayed 3 days and 2 nights, at the beginning it is true that we had to wait a bit for the room (that it was ready), but we could wait comfortably by taking a bath and relaxing in the pool. Clearly it is not a thousand star hotel, in fact I confirm the furniture, which is a bit old in style, and the pipes are quite clogged (which for what we used in the end wasn't that bad and we washed a ****** of times between sea and heat), but otherwise everything was excellent. The owner seemed quite helpful and kind as well as his handyman (he takes care of the cleaning of the rooms, breakfast and other chores), always available to give information and ready to satisfy the customer's requests, in fact on the last day we arrived after 10am due to an underwater activity but we were still able to use our now former room (complete with shower and drying rack). Nothing to say about cleanliness, sheets, towels and inside the room in general everything was fine. Working sockets, a big drawback was the fridge which had a cable that wasn't completely covered in one part and the electrical socket (yes, you read that right) in the shower at the top, which I personally had never seen. Luckily there was an "on-off" switch which obviously allowed the activation of this socket and consequently the risk of being electrocuted. In fact we have never touched it. It's true that the fridge makes a bit of an annoying noise at night but you just need to move it a little and it goes away. One "peculiar" thing is that to have the light in the room you had to put the key in a switch, only when we had to close the door as a result we had no more light but this detail could also be solved with the phone's flashlight. The honestly "normal" breakfast: croissants of various types (empty, cream, etc.), coffee or cappuccino, yogurt of various flavors, fruit juice and grilled sliced ​​bread that could be seasoned with the classic single-portion jams/honey/Nutella. Simple but good, for our needs. Top swimming pool not to mention the super strategic location close to everything. If I were to return to Vulcano I would gladly return to Al Togo.

I went with my husband and daughter. The property may have good potential: large rooms with patio and communal pool. Unfortunately, however, the structure is old and poorly maintained, starting from the bathrooms and all the furnishings. Insufficient breakfast and with poor quality products.

When you arrive at the entrance gate you think you are in an exceptional place! Fresh avenue full of greenery, many rooms each with its own terrace and a very nice swimming pool on the right. Great choice you think. Problems arise as soon as you enter the tiny, musty-smelling, very disorganized and dark reception. It will be a point of support you think...Let's go to the room. Broken bed, deteriorated and dirty wardrobe (watch out for cockroaches and wood splinters), refrigerator powered by a wire coming out of the 80s air conditioner (which makes noises like a locomotive), television wrapped in cables, cobwebs and I'll stop here. Let's go to the bathroom... Water heater that I think has never been cleaned, sink in such a small space that you can only use one arm and be careful because here comes the best part: despite my humble 175 cm height, I couldn't get into the shower how low it was (and narrow but keeping a door open "solves" the problem). . Cost for 2 nights €188.80 (NINETY-FOUREUROEQUARANTY-NIGHT). Breakfast included but never taken given the hygienic conditions of the structure.

I read the positive reviews, the convenient price for the location and I say to myself... I'll book now! It's a shame that the positive reviews weren't exactly reliable. BAD IS TO SAY A LITTLE. Structure with potential but very poorly maintained, dilapidated and dirty. In a period like this even more so... I felt disgusted with touching anything, taking a shower and sleeping on that bed... it's a shame that all the other facilities in Vulcano were full that week otherwise I would have gladly changed! I don't recommend it at all. Owners, wake up and try to renovate but above all know how to enhance what you have in your hands with CLEANING!

Il personale molto disponibile e cordiale! Un luogo in cui sentirsi praticamente a casa. La piscina immersa tra le palme è perfetta per rilassarsi. La stanza assegnata era dotata di un bagno e cortiletto esterno con tavolino! Molto utile lo stedino!! Ci verremo sicuramente ancora!

Hôtel au calme Chambre bruyante avec les voisins

Abbiamo trascorso 3 giorni in questo hotel. Complessivamente buono il rapporto qualità prezzo considerato lo standard dell’isola. Le camere sono spartane ma complete di tutto. Un po’ vecchio l’arredamento e anche i servizi igienici. Veranda ampia munita di stendino e sfruttabile per relax e spuntini. Colazione basic. Una brioches a persona quando la si trova perché molti ospiti fanno i maleducati e ne arraffano più del dovuto. Gentile il gestore e il suo tuttofare complessivamente disponibili ad accogliere le richieste della clientela. Bella la piscina con acqua tiepida e scivoli tra le palme. Consigliato per un breve soggiorno sull’isola.

Points +: proximité du port. Personnel agréable et souriant. Petit dej agréable sur la terrasse de la piscine. Belle piscine. Proche des plages Point -: salle de bain pas commode. La propreté de la douche pose question. Climatisation et frigo bruyant pour dormir.
