Zhaoxing Dong Village is an absolute treasure. Sure, it is touristy in parts, however many of the streets and alleyways of the town are filled with local people living local and traditional lives. One night in the town is perfect, although I could easily spend many more days there if I was looking for a relaxing and peaceful break.

This was a nice hotel with a great location. They picked us up from the main gate but he had to find our own way back when we left.

The boss provides pick-up and drop-off service at the high-speed rail station. When we set out to visit the Dong Village, the front desk lady will also explain to us how to get there and how to take the bus to the terraced fields, etc. She is very enthusiastic ❤
