Location Hotel Room Other The hotel is in the centre of Carmarthen and very convenient for all local amenities, and having a front and back door makes it really easy to access the area. The hotel looks like it is split across three buildings on the same site. The hotel is well maintained. We didn't use the front door but the back door from the car park was up a few stairs and then down some stairs on the inside. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed. The room had a fridge and good size wardrobe, all with plenty of space. The bathroom had a large shower with good water pressure. The entrance to the car park is tight, which the walls on either side pay testament to. The online video that the hotel put up shows it all. Breakfast was great, and included a vegetarian option. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room doesn't appear to be wheelchair accessible.

Great place and location. Staff were excellent. Top tip - try the scrambled eggs for breakfast. They are the best!

We had a wonderful 2 night stay here. Huge room and spotlessly clean. Staff were all lovely and the breakfasts were excellent I had cooked breakfasts each morning. Very convenient to walk to shops and bars. We had a meal at The New Curiosity few doors down (we had booked it ) and was excellent definitely recommend it. The parking can be tight but just be careful going in and they lock the gate so your car is safe and secure too. Will definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone.

Wonderful stay at the Spilman this weekend. We were upgraded to the apartment which was such a luxury. Location is perfect and fairly quiet. Staff are friendly and happy to help. The entrance to the car park is very narrow as others have mentioned previously but otherwise a very enjoyable stay. Thank you

Pros : The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and the staff were very helpful. Cons : Parking can be very tricky like they have mentioned in their site. Very narrow space to negotiate, For a big spacious room the heating wasn't enough and took a long time to warm up.

A warm and professional wlecome and room changed as the receptionist saw my wife walks with sticks. A ground-floor room was provided. The room was excellent. Large, warm and very clean with bathroom with walk-in shower. The bar area is welcoming and breakfast was superb. Freshly cooked plated hot breakfast with juices, coffee and tea freely available not forgetting the cereals and breads. Good parking on internal courtyard. Can not speeak too highly about the hotel and staff.
