second stay in the hotel...excellent location, close to UCL and British museum and Russell square station...stayed in a double bed room this time, which is larger than the twin room last time...the hotel is pretty big with lots of rooms and 3 luggage rooms

Strategic location, near train station, walkable distance. Many restaurants and shops close by. Lots of tourists checking in, staff were polite and efficient. Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment. Room was standard for a 3 star, no complaints. Excellent hotel for price.

The location is very good. We can walk to the British Museum and Russel Square Station in a few minutes. At Russel Square Station, we can also take a direct train to Heathrow Airport in about an hour. Very convenient for us. The breakfast is good. But there is no aircon or fan in the room. No fridge in the room.

150 years old buildings, rooms are very small with limited space for luggage. It's a bad idea to stay in summer as no air conditioner or fan is available but not a standard. Must ask for it as they don't proactive tell. Breakfast add on are expensive at 17.5GBP, lots of choice around.
It's close to British Museum and tube stations and centre to many attractions. Great as convenient location.

Location is great, very close to King’s Cross station and St. Pancras station. Many attractions such as The British Museum, Convent Garden, Coal Drop Yard etc. are all in a walkable distance.
However, due to the heat wave, extremely hot weather, while waiting for check in at the lobby, the waiting queue is super long, it was very hot and unbreathable.
There is also no AC or fan in the room, and no fridge. With a strap tied to the window, we could only open a small gap, not enough for the oxygen to enter the room. It was too hot during the night, the room was like an oven, we couldn’t sleep, had to get to the lobby to ask for a solution, the staffs said that they have fan for borrow, but that night they already lended it all out. They marked our room number and said will deliver a fan to our room the next night, but the other night after we get back to our room we did not see any fan in our room. Lastly, the lock of our bathroom is broken.

The room was quite small, really struggling to have 2 suitcases put out. There’s no aircon in the room, therefore it can be hot and stuffy with tiny opening of the window. One day we had cigarette smoke coming from the vent in the bathroom. It was horrible. The issue continued for the next day. We had to close the bathroom door as the smoke spread to the whole room. We complained multiple times in the day. We were only getting feedback from the hotel that they will find out, but we never heard back from the hotel. Until we complained again and said this is not acceptable, they finally changed room for us.

A good hotel at convenient location. We have triple room for our first stay. The room size is good enough and clean. We love the bathroom supplies, with good quality. The overall experience is great! Recommended!

Carpet stain, duvet is very dirty, no air conditioner in room, can’t sleep if you open the window because traffic sound is very noisy. Will not recommend this hotel.
