We booked as two couples to stay last Saturday night. On Friday the host made contact asking if we would agree to stay in an apartment nearby so he could maximise bookings. This wasn't an issue for us, although we'd have preferred ensuite rooms, so we agreed to move. There was no issue with the apartment. The owner gave us a printed piece of paper with instructions on where to leave the key when we check out, WiFi password and the code for the keypad at the main front door, 3689. We got back after pubs shut and could not get in using the code on the piece of paper. We tried calling him but could not reach him. We were outside for a considerable period of time, we tried calling him numerous times and left messages. To date he has not returned any calls. We were left with no option, we were going to sleep in the car but realised we had left the keys inside the apartment. No-one was answering any of the buzzers. I was left with no option but to stand on the street screaming until I woke a young girl who came down and let us in. The door code was 3698. The was a very disappointing ending to our night away. Clearly this guy is only interested in making money and maximising his rentals. He has no interest in his guests otherwise we would have been able to contact him. The very least he could have done was make contact when he got the message. Spend your money elsewhere!
