This is really a guesthouse not a hotel. The room is a high quality, good size, and amazing view. Be prepared that the routes too and from the hotel involve broken unlit passageways and live chickens. This is, honestly, half the charm - but if you are looking for a posh hotel stay then this is not for you. The room will be cleaned, but only if you ask. There is not free drinking water, but you can buy drinks and (Chinese) food downstairs. The village of Ping’An offers loads of curious walking routes, and this hotel is very well positioned. If you are looking for a mixture of walking and relaxing then this could be a wonderful place for a few days. I did feel it was overpriced, but I went during a National holiday.

This hotel provides excellent views of the rice terraces just out your window. The hostess was very helpful, offering us tips and also assisting us with booking an affordable river back to Guilin. Dinner was well prepared, although with a rather inconvenient ordering method. Breakfast was quite plain.

The location is pretty good, you can see the terraced fields when you open the window, but the sanitation, sound insulation, poor service, hair everywhere in the bathroom, stains on the bedding, noisy upstairs and downstairs, I can understand that most B&Bs are not soundproof, personally I think homestays generally pay more attention to service. After all, the price is not very cheap. When I came to the front desk and said that no one would check in, I stood there for more than ten minutes before slowly asking for your name and giving you the room card. Is there a pick-up service? In this area, the information on the reservation page is not clearly marked whether there is a pick-up or drop-off. I asked the store if there is a pick-up and drop-off before I made the reservation. At that time, I placed the order on Ctrip. The same price is just an order placed on a different platform. Ctrip’s order does not exist. I can’t understand it. Later, I called the front desk and said that there is a pick-up service. If you are not familiar with the business, just ask the front desk. The meaning of customer service Is to solve the problem instead of creating doubts for customers

The boss's service is good, and you can see the terraced fields from the terrace. But if you are used to staying in hotels, don't choose this one. The road to the B&B is inconvenient. You have to walk a very narrow slope. It is very inconvenient to bring children. The bed is uncomfortable, the toilet is not clean, and there are stains, slight cleanliness It's really unacceptable, the curtains are not blackout, and the sun is so bright in the morning that I can't sleep. Generally, the decoration and service of a very traditional private hotel. There may be more hotels in Jinkeng with modern decoration and better equipment. The hotels in Pinganzhai really cannot report too much expectations.
