Good location, close to night spots and restaurants. Can walk from here. Bed is comfortable. Shower pressure pressure low. Worn down hotel, but clean. Price is value for money.

The service is unobtrusive. As for cleanliness, Asian cleaning requires black hair. Apparently, it's a talisman. The shower water pressure was weak, and there was no hot water at night. The hotel is old and needs some renovations. The location is okay. I walked around at night and no one robbed me. In short, it's an okay hotel for sleeping. If you're used to Hiltons, you won't like it.

We enjoyed our short stay at The Clipper Hotel which was recommended by friends. Check in was seamless and Jena the front desk person and all around multitasker was extremely helpful, polite and friendly. All of the staff were accessible when needed. The room was huge enough to do my daily exercise routine and was cleaned thoroughly upon arrival. Bathroom was also large. I had the corner unit which included a full size frig and microwave, safe and tv (channels were all local). There are many restaurants and pubs, coffee houses, 7-11’s just a few steps away so you will not be short of dining choices. It was easy to call a Grab ride to take out outside of the Poblacion area. The cons were the shower pressure was weak although the water was hot! And it is quite noisy especially at night to be expected as this is the nightlife area. But it was okay for us. Would definitely stay there again and recommend
