Masseria Bosco & Masseria Strazzati

Don't go there! If you love confusion, chaos, the background noise of cars passing on the highway, don't go there. If you don't like endless olive tree forests that border dirt roads to travel in absolute silence, with the background of cicadas singing continuously and accompanying you towards a Masseria that has remained magically still in an indefinite time, with a wonderful swimming pool, a top-quality restaurant important at sustainable prices, all managed by professional, helpful, polite guys with enormous growth potential, then don't go there. And if you have the misfortune of ending up at Masseria Strazzati, an annex of Masseria Bosco, then you will really be able to understand what the term Slow Living means. We fell in love, and left with great sorrow in our hearts. Thanks to all the staff, you are wonderful. Thank you. Andrea & Loretta.

Compliments. Everything perfect, lovely place and exquisite food. The only thing I would suggest is expanding the menu a bit. Honest price for the quality and quantity of the dishes, exquisite parmigiana, quality meat, all quality products

There are a lot of ants on the property, in the room and even in the bed! On the way back home we still find these over our bodies, in the bags and suitcases... Concerns the beds in the room; the sheets have not been changed once, only neatly made. We could see this because there was already a stain on the sheets when we arrived at the masseria. The beds are old, hard and you can feel the springs pricking. We are used to really hard beds and prefer this, but if you lie on your side and you feel the iron poking you, that is certainly not okay (To be clear, we are 60 and 75 kg). After we indicated this, a kind of molton was imposed, what they call a 'topper'. This obviously does not make a more positive contribution. After two sleepless nights we both woke up with back and neck problems. After a few conversations it is indicated that they will not arrange new mattresses. They advise us to contact the tour company for another stay, and that it will be better if we stay elsewhere. After we have indicated this, there is a noticeable difference in the approach from the employees. Some employees seem to prefer to be somewhere else than here anyway. It just barely manages to bring a smile. The beds at the pool are moderately sized, very hard and when they lie flat you can feel the edge in your skin, which remains visible afterwards. The possibility of lying in the shade is difficult, despite the parasols. There is a very poor WiFi connection. Sometimes it seems as if they have pulled the plug (in the evening) - then there is little or no connection at all, because the range is minimal here. The breakfast is sp**** and the same every morning, except for the jam on the cake. The food in the evening in the restaurant is highly recommended! Furthermore, it is a beautiful place, where you can really see the authenticity of the farm.

Posto delizioso una masseria che conserva tutto il suo fascino originale. Pulita ben arredata ricca di angoli relax che stimolano la gioia dei sensi. Non è la prima volta che ci veniamo ma ci ritorniamo sempre con piacere. Il personale è accorto e gentile Stefano il Maitre è l’uomo delle soluzioni ! La proprietaria gentilissima è sempre presente ,pronta a soddisfare ogni necessità dei clienti. La punta di diamante però è la cucina sapientemente guidata da MIMMO LO CHEF. I suoi piatti sono delle rivisitazioni della cucina pugliese proposta in modo brillante. Uno chef capace di conservare le note della tradizione rinnovandole nel gusto … insomma ….una vera poesia per il palato ! Une certezza di piacere per le papille che si sposa perfettamente con una location così bella

Abbiamo scoperto questa oasi di pace gli ultimi giorni delle vacanze estive. Peccato non averlo fatto prima. Abbiamo provato solo la cucina, deliziosa. Personale gentilissimo e attento, bellezza della struttura da segnalare. Peccato non essere riusciti a trovarvi una sistemazione. Consigliatissimo a chi vuole trovare tranquillità e relax.

Soggiorno in coppia, camera molto spaziosa, forse da migliorare la pulizia. Piscina meravigliosa come tutta la masseria. Cena ottima e fine serata nel silenzio degli ulivi, sotto un cielo stellato. Acquistato vino e olio di loro produzione.

Das Hotel liegt ruhig zwischen Olivenhainen, die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, die alten Gebäude wurde wunderschön zu einem Hotel hergerichtet, der Pool ist fantastisch und das Personal ist freundlich. Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb von Avetrana, wenn man den Ort besichtigen oder zum Meer will (ca 10 km), muss man mobil sein. Wir waren im Nebengebäude untergebracht, ca. 1 km entfernt vom Hauptgebäude (Pool, Restaurant, Frühstück). Da wir mit dem Rad dort waren, war das kein Problem. In den alten Gemäuern kommt es einem so vor, als würde man in einer Burg schlafen.
